Let me start off my saying this was the most traumatic nail experience I have EVER experienced. I went there yesterday to have my acrylics removed because I wanted them professionally removed. She started off by cutting them with nail clippers, which was fine. Then she got one of the acrylic nails out of her drawer and started shoving it under the nail and trying to separate it from my actual nail. She was jamming it so hard and never in my life have I been to a nail salon that removed acrylics like that! It was extremely painful and I told her that, but she just kept saying âI donât want to hurt youâ and kept jamming the acrylic nail under my nail. It was the most EXCRUCIATING pain ever and it feels like my real nail was ripped off one by one. Donât come here for your acrylic nails to be removed unless you want a torture experience! Me being the quiet and shy person I am, I donât like to complain but I asked if she could soak them in acetone or SOMETHING and she refused. I told her I could just remove the rest at home since she was struggling to remove some of them. She even detached part of my nail, which left me bleeding and now I have to wear multiple bandaids on my fingers and they are the thinnest and smallest nails I have ever had! Keep in mind, my nails were pretty long before this and by her ripping them off, it made them so short that it physically hurts to the touch. I was visibly sweating and shaking from the pain and my whole body ended up drenched. She made me pay $11 for that and I immediately walked out and cried in my car. Worst experience by far and I am upset because I used to love this place. Unfortunately I will NEVER be coming back and I will no longer recommend this place to...
Read moreThe customer service is horrible; Donât go!!!! I witnessed a customer who had a legitimate issue, her polish dried lumpy. One would think this is a simple fix , right! Not at this salon. The nail tech proceeded to curse at the customer, she then grabbed her hands and then proceeded to lock myself, my daughter and the other customers into the establishment to keep the other customer from getting into the salon. Who by the way only wanted to speak with a manager, to have the polish fixed. It appeared that the nail tech who was so aggressive and hostile was possibly the owner or maybe the wife of the owner who knows. Other nail techs looked at the nails and stated it was fine, but I believe that the opinions were based on fear of losing their job. Things got so bad that the police were called. Yes, over a polish change!! Itâs seems unbelievable, but this is what happened. Upon leaving, I was approached by the customer and saw her nails. It was a rush job and it looked like the polish had been too thick and it rippled as it dried. I am not a nail tech so I not sure about the science behind what would cause it to do this. None the less it was not smooth. I personally was so offended by the kind of language and aggression that was displayed before my young daughter who was also getting her nails done for her birthday. What a terrible experience!! My daughter picked a navy blue color for her nails and the color ended up being a turquoise blue. With everything that occurred, she was afraid to say anything in fear that we would be cursed at and kicked out like the other customer. If it were possible to give this place negative stars I would, so...
Read moreJust left the salon and had to go to walmart to get supplies to fix their screw up. I provided the receipts for both as proof. Don't know the name of the tech as he didn't have a conversation with me. This started with the first lady I spoke to when I arrived. I asked if they had time to do my nails. She said, you want full set, I said yes, acrylic. She said no you want gel nail? I said no. She said, ok. Speaking to Mai she sad in English, she want regular nails. They pointed to the wall and said, "Pick out you color ma'am". So I went to the color wall, and the tech asked me you want gel nail, I said no again. I want regular acrylic nails. He made an exasperated sound, and said you pick your color. I waited only 5 minutes. He called me back and proceeded to act unfriendly to me, meanwhile speaking in Vietnamese to other techs in the room. The process was rushed and I watched him as he worked. He had no care in what he was doing, very sloppy and careless. I even had to ask him to cut the nails back a little more. As you can see in the pictures, this is how they turned out. He put the coats of paint on then a regular clear coat and told me to go under the lamp. I sat for 10 minutes and the nails were still very gummy. I got up and told him they were still wet. He didn't dry them in between, he just piled 3 coats on top of each other! He said you let dry longer, (and then sarcastically said) because you want regular nail, you wait much longer. And laughed then said something in Vietnamese. The checkout process was unpleasant. Never! never! never! again. This is the 3rd time they have been...
