Burger King — Restaurant in Asheville

I like Burker Kings variety of Whopper and Whopper Jr sandwiches, but unfortunately I have to write this review... Over the past couple of weeks, I have been through the drive through 3 times, and each time what I ended up with was either wrong, short on something, or not what I asked and paid for. The first time I asked for a BBQ Bacon Whopper Jr fries and a drink, got home and found a regular Whopper Jr..

The 2nd time, I ordered for myself, my gf and our boy, 2 Whopper Jrs, one of them plain with cheese, ketchup and mustard, an 8 piece chicken fry, and two drinks.. Got home and found that they didn't make the one sandwich to order at all, AND they had shorted us 2 of the 8 piece, and they don't even sell a 6pc.. it's either 4 or 8 or 12.. why?

The LAST time, today.. I went through the drive through, ordered a BBQ Bacon Whopper Jr, one Whopper Jr Cheese plain with mustard and ketchup, and a French fry..

Got to where I was going with the food only to find that they had shorted me the bacon specifically for the BBQ BACON sandwich...I mean it's in the name!!

I go all the way back through traffic to go inside because this is the 3 time IN A ROW, that something like this has been done. I go inside and tell the manager exactly what I've posted here, I explain that I come here because I like the sandwiches and I keep HOPING they'll do it right, and I would like this order REFUNDED and then remade properly.

She agrees, and says she will re-ring it after the refund.

I wait patiently albeit I'm frustrated and have things I have to do..and then I get the food...

Now, remember she had the receipt IN HER HAND when she re-entered the order... I checked the bag, opened the BBQ Bacon to check it, but alas.... I FAILED to double check that the manager could simply copy the EXACT order she was reading, because my gf found her sandwich THIS time had been RANG IN WITHOUT cheese....and the manager HAD THE ORDER BROKEN DOWN IN HER HAND to copy from...woooowwww..

The slogan says to have it your way. I order a royal crispy chicken sandwich add cheese extra pickle along with a meal for fiancé. After pulling in parking lot to eat find out fiancé's meal is accounted for my sandwich not. We go back through the drive through and say hey we did not recieve our Royal chicken sandwhich. They said extra pickles add cheese. I agree they hand us the sandwich with the correct stickers and we drive away. Upon taking a bite I find out there's no cheese. I wouldn't have even bothered at this point, but we ordered what we ordered. You repeated it back correctly, it's marked correctly, and yet the actual product was missing cheese. We go back through for the third time and they're asking us for the receipt as I'm saying look at the stickers it's not matching the actual sandwich. They later understand and ask if I want a slice of cheese. They wanted to hand me slices of cheese to put on my own sandwich. Then suggested they heated up the one I have and add cheese. I said I want a new one with what we ordered. The lady at the window huffed and I asked if there was a problem. We found the receipt in the car and now they don't want it. If you could have just looked at the stickers like I told you why didn't you? The service was horrible. Won't be back and now we're thinking we need to unwrap and inspect everything we order from now on. Shame...

With everyone having a variety of fish sandwiches out now, and myself enjoying spicy food, I had to try their Fiery Big Fish. What a great tasting sandwich! The " Triple Pepper spicy glaze" really does the trick and has some real heat to it. The fish portion was a little thin, but allowed it to be crunchy rather than soggy. I did place the order through the app and picked up inside. The fast food apps are great as they allow you to customize almost any reg menu item while also acquiring points for freebies and you get your food faster usually. I added extra "spicy glaze" (25 cents) and "light" onions. Would suggest extra tarter sauce too. Simple clean interior, prompt courteous service (can't always say that) and the restroom was fine. They have one of those drink machines that dispenses everything - my Coke actually came out tasting like Coke! Nice! At the little red-haired girl's place, their machines usually mix in a little of what the last person got - so the Coke never just tastes like Coke! Also had the Cheesy Tots and wow are they cheesy and good. Hardly taste potato, which isn't a bad thing. Tasted more like fried mac & cheese - yummo! And also enjoyed the halfsies - fries are avg but the onion rings were better than most for...
