Phenomenal. Got the Thai Lover's Tea as I use the Thai Tea at any bubble tea place as a sort of baseline to see if it's solid. The tea itself was fantastic, the perfect sweetness even at full sweetness (I usually prefer mine less sweet than most places make it). The boba was ever so slightly undercooked for my preference, but it's not like it wasn't done or anything like that, it was just a little firmer than I prefer.
We also got Taro Milk Tea, which again was very good. Also not grossly sweet by default, and the flavor wasn't the overpowering concentrate flavor that most places have, it was a lot more subtle which, again, is a plus in my book.
We also got the Tiramisu that the man behind the counter told us was a new recipe. I really hope it's a recipe they keep, because it's phenomenal. Very strong coffee flavor, the ladyfingers keep a good amount of substance which a lot of tiramisu doesn't have going for it. Just like the rest of the stuff we got, it also wasn't disgustingly sweet. All of the things we got feel so much more enjoyable to consume because it doesn't feel like an unbelievable amount of sugar inside, just a relatively normal amount. Huge thumbs up, definitely will be coming back and...
Read moreCha Cold is a 10/10 place! Cute tiny spot. I got to talk with the owner a little bit and they were set to open 3 days before the hurricane hit so I can only imagine it's been slow moving opening up this business. Despite that and other obstacles they are doing such an amazing job!! I had the Thai tea crepe cake which was wonderfully light and not too sweet or cloying but very flavorful. I also had the ham sandwich which was absolutely delightful. I told myself I would eat half of both items and take the other half home but neither made it out of the shop. I had a pink milk tea which is a tropical fruit I had never heard of before but tasted a bit like strawberries and cream. I'd almost liken it to a strawberry version of a paw paw. The best thing about their logo is their little dog Thunder. He was a cute dog that lived a long life with an adorable tribute picture right in the name.
I would highly recommend anyone popping by here for some delightful snacks and refreshing drinks. I live no where nearby but I am absolutely making it a...
Read moreWe have been waiting to see when we could pop by and this place did not disappoint AT ALL. The tai coffee is impeccable. Very smooth and rich. Best iced coffee I have had in a long while. Also?? The cups feel incredibly high quality- I don't even want to throw it away.
They also play pleasant music with no words- perfect for relaxing. This place is a must have for a chill environment and a pleasant time with a friend.
EDIT: I completely forgot what the desert we got was called but it was SO GOOD. The fruit complimented the sauce and toast so well. The more the sauce soaked into the toast, the more it started tasting like cake. It was as divine as its presentation. I ended up getting another drink that they happily made again for me after I was sad about not liking carbonation. I forgot what it was called but I think it was a Cha Cold Galaxy if I'm not mistaken. It was very yummy as well, even with carbonation, but I obviously liked it much better without. We're so excited to come back and try...
