Do not walk. RUN. This place is a complete scam. If you are looking to get any type of plastic surgery done with Dr. Bootstaylor, I would reconsider fast.
I met with Dr. Bootstaylor last year for a consultation. No procedures were done, no medicine was given, no treatments whatsoever. This was a simple consultation to discuss the possibility of getting a procedure done in the future. Keep in mind this consultation lasted less than an hour and all we did was discuss some of the questions I had about the procedure.
10 months later I receive a bill in the mail of $1,326.00… I figured this had to be a mistake… I frantically call and after discussing the matter back and forth, they came to an agreement that they would void the claim of $1,326.00 and that I would only owe a remaining balance of $75.00. (Keep in mind that they made me this offer as soon as I mentioned going online to write an HONEST REVIEW.)
After we made this agreement over the phone, I was told that I would receive a new bill & letter. Weeks went by and I heard nothing... So, two weeks ago I reached back out to Atlanta APC Plastic Surgery and they told me that they could no longer make the adjustment to $75.00 and that the only resolution was to pay the amount of $1,326.00. Shocked, I decided to go in the office and see what fine print I missed stating $1,500 fees for consultations. Nowhere did it state this absurd amount of money for a CONSULTATION, so I ask what any concerned client would ask. I asked for proof.
They quickly told me that they CANNOT show me proof of the $1,500 fees they charge for their consultations because of “privacy reasons.” So, not only are they telling me that I HAVE to pay the amount of $1,326.00, but they also have no paperwork to validate that this is a legitimate price!
Dr. Bootstaylor and her staff have continued to push back for weeks now and refuse to show me any type of proof or to help me come up with some sort of clarification for this dilemma. These people are vile and unprofessional. I am not sure how they are still in business but I am working hard to have a full investigation on this matter.
I am writing this review today to warn you about Dr. Bootstaylor and what she is doing to her patients because I regrettably ignored the red flags. Look anywhere else but here!
I can only say one word: FRAUD. Do not fall in the same...
Read moreI paid cash for an areola reduction with Dr. Bootstaylor. I received NO aftercare instructions or any medication after my procedure. 4 days later (on a Saturday) I was in the emergency room with an infection. Pus was oozing out around both areola’s and I was in extreme pain. I contacted her office and they tried to get me to come in and see her assistant. I refused because I preferred her. Lisa Bootstaylor ignored my calls and emails. When she finally decides to acknowledge me (which was over a week after my infection, she scheduled me an appointment. Mind you at this point I was extremely disappointed with the results because it looked nothing like the wish pic I gave her and she assured me she could do. My areola’s were worse than before! The scar tissue around where she cut me was HORRIFYING. At my appointment she spent the whole time defending her work and never once addressed my health. It ended with her giving me my file which was her way of kicking me, a patient, out of her office.
I had to wait 6 months to redo the botched surgery she did with another doctor. I went to Dr. Whiteman in Duluth on 3/7/19 and he did a WONDERFUL AMAZING job! My breast now looks AMAZING I can’t stop looking at them! The scar tissue from the surgery Lisa Bootstaylor did was sooooooooo thick, Dr. Whiteman had to cut it with scissors. They used local anesthesia to numb me so I was awake the entire time. It took TRIPLE the numbing injections because the scar tissue was so thick and hard to push the needle through.
As a patient I hate that I went to her. She’s nice as long as you have no problems or complaints. Her bedside manner and attitude is horrible and completely unprofessional. Also Google just her las Name “Bootstaylor” and her husband who “was” also a doctor had his medical license revoked. I filed a complaint with the GA medical...
Read moreLet me start this review off by stating that I wanted to wait until I was mostly healed and could really begin to see my true results before I left a review. I wanted to be able to provide a thorough review and I can honestly say that I am pleased with Dr. Bootstaylor 's care, her staff, and my results. Everyone was down to earth and kind, not phony but genuinely seem like nice people that enjoy what they do and who they work for. I was treated with nothing but care and respect and enjoyed myself each visit. I had a very good recovery and healed pretty quickly so I didn't reach out much but when I did in SEVERE pain the day after the procedure. I got a response in less than 30 minutes with what I could take and do to ease the pain. That was awesome. During the entire process Janese was a pleasure and Ms. Geri was my ROCK during the procedure (twilight lipo 360) she held my hand, comforted me until the meds kicked in and did such a good job that I even dozed off for a few minutes lol. My results? I'm not gonna lie at first I was skeptical, and both Dr. Bootstaylor and my friend that also had a bbl kept telling me "just wait, you'll see". Baaaaayyyybeeeeehhhh I hit 13 weeks and that thang is THANGIN ok! My waist is snatched and my hip to waist ratio is crazy. My measurements are now 35-29.5-46! And I am still not done, I have 2 more months of healing before I can say that I am at my true results. Which I can only guess will be 35-28/29-46. Was it worth the price? Absolutely, even both my massage therapists told me that I healed nicely and quick. I had 0 complications during recovery, no sign of infection, and my results look good and natural, hell yes it was worth it. Instead of getting into the airport, get into...
