I had a terrible experience here. It started with a very in depth consultation with details and pictures but when almost everything that your stylist does is different from what is discussed is a real issue. I have healthy 3ft long strawberry blonde hair. I asked for all of it to be a shade lighter to bring out my blonde. She started with highlights even though I told her no highlights assuming she would do what we discussed so that everything would be the same color. I had to ask her to take the foils off because she was no where to be found when my hair was much more blonde and damaged then either of us intended. she insisted it was because my hair lifted easily. while this is true because I am legally blonde its no excuse for having bleach on for too long. we discussed using a clear toner and she returned with a red toner so although it was extremely bleached the red toner covered everything we had just bleached leaving none of the wanted shade of blonde to show. the sealant made my hair smell bad. she told me she wouldn't have time to blow dry or style when it was extremely cold outside and I had a lunch to attend after so I told her I would rather blow dry then have a cut. fortunately after the blow dry she had 8 spare minutes for my trim so I did get a cut regardless but insisting I leave without seeing the final product and with wet hair in the cold after that price and experience is insulting. The end result was more dark, processed, damaged and un-natural then when I arrived. I told her I would need to go somewhere else to get the product I desired and she told me to wait until Sumer before I get my hair done again. While I agree with waiting between bleaches I don't understand why a stylist would tell a client after knowing they didn't deliver to not pursue getting it the way they wanted it when they arrived for another 6 months. The total came out to $400. I didn't receive what I came in for and left very sad. just don't go here because It too way too much talking, explaining and anxiety to prevent a bad situation from being an even...

Read moreThe picture of the girl in the black shirt is what I brought in and the other ones are what I left with after two sessions. :( I booked an appointment at Adore after seeing my friend’s hair and loving it. My stylist was Erin and while she is a lovely person, honestly - she’s great, my hair looks nothing like the photos I brought in. I’m not in love with the color, but to be fair, she did tell me that my hair wouldn’t be as blond as the photos because it can take some time for someone to “go blond” in a healthy way. My main issue is the placement of the color. I wanted a true balayage color treatment with soft, natural gradation of lightness towards my ends and instead I came out with highlights from the 90s that look like they were pulled through a cap and are super patchy. I went into the salon the first time & my appt took around 5 hours. I tried to love the result, but after a week, I booked a followup appointment. I went back in a second time, showed the same photo and explained that I wanted blended panels of color and that I really hated the pencil thin highlights that were in the front of my hair and when my hair was dry after the second session, I had even MORE of the pencil thin highlights and the blond didn’t look any softer or more blended. (???) Ryan the manager has been very thorough following up with me trying to make it right. The only options were to pay another stylist to take over from scratch, pay Erin to try again for the third time at a discounted rate or get a fractional refund. I can’t understand having to pay for hair I don’t like and then the solution to fix it is to pay more money. :( Lots of people have had wonderful experiences here but mine has been a headache, and a very expensive...
