The picture of the girl in the black shirt is what I brought in and the other ones are what I left with after *two* sessions. :( I booked an appointment at Adore after seeing my friend’s hair and loving it. My stylist was Erin and while she is a lovely person, honestly - she’s great, my hair looks *nothing* like the photos I brought in. I’m not in love with the color, but to be fair, she did tell me that my hair wouldn’t be as blond as the photos because it can take some time for someone to “go blond” in a healthy way. My main issue is the placement of the color. I wanted a true balayage color treatment with soft, natural gradation of lightness towards my ends and instead I came out with highlights from the 90s that look like they were pulled through a cap and are super patchy. I went into the salon the first time & my appt took around 5 hours. I tried to love the result, but after a week, I booked a followup appointment. I went back in a second time, showed the same photo and explained that I wanted blended panels of color and that I really hated the pencil thin highlights that were in the front of my hair and when my hair was dry after the second session, I had even MORE of the pencil thin highlights and the blond didn’t look any softer or more blended. (???) Ryan the manager has been very thorough following up with me trying to make it right. The only options were to pay another stylist to take over from scratch, pay Erin to try again for the third time at a discounted rate or get a fractional refund. I can’t understand having to pay for hair I don’t like and then the solution to fix it is to pay more money. :( Lots of people have had wonderful experiences here but mine has been a headache, and a very expensive one at that.

I would rather eat a whole jar of Costco Peanut butter without any water in under 30 minutes to save my own life before I let anyone other than Melanie Bell touch my hair. The only person I’ve trusted with my hair for the past 10 years, and the only person I’ll trust with my hair until I die. Mind you my dad has been going to Melanie for almost 20 years now as well- she can really do it all ;) My most recent cut we’ve been doing is quite literally landing me stardom in the modeling industry! Cut, Color, Styling, literally anything. And for 10 years straight, my hair ALWAYS comes out looking better than I could’ve ever imagined. Truly- I don’t know how she does it… 5 stars 10/10 Don’t miss out on this Woman!!

Jessica Appling at Adore is the first stylist I've ever gone to repeatedly and now specifically request. She's been taking care of my hair for two years now, and I see her every six weeks for color maintenance and trimming. Jess knows her sh*t and always sends me off with clear, thorough instructions about how to care for my specific hair type (thin, fine) and the best products for me to use at home to take care of my color (at every price point and without pushing expensive products on me). More than that though, Jess has such a chill and comforting energy. There are no stupid questions with her, and she makes our appointments feel more like a hangout than a hair appointment. HIGHLY recommend.

I had a terrible experience here. It started with a very in depth consultation with details and pictures but when almost everything that your stylist does is different from what is discussed is a real issue. I have healthy 3ft long strawberry blonde hair. I asked for all of it to be a shade lighter to bring out my blonde. She started with highlights even though I told her no highlights assuming she would do what we discussed so that everything would be the same color. I had to ask her to take the foils off because she was no where to be found when my hair was much more blonde and damaged then either of us intended. she insisted it was because my hair lifted easily. while this is true because I am legally blonde its no excuse for having bleach on for too long. we discussed using a clear toner and she returned with a red toner so although it was extremely bleached the red toner covered everything we had just bleached leaving none of the wanted shade of blonde to show. the sealant made my hair smell bad. she told me she wouldn't have time to blow dry or style when it was extremely cold outside and I had a lunch to attend after so I told her I would rather blow dry then have a cut. fortunately after the blow dry she had 8 spare minutes for my trim so I did get a cut regardless but insisting I leave without seeing the final product and with wet hair in the cold after that price and experience is insulting. The end result was more dark, processed, damaged and un-natural then when I arrived. I told her I would need to go somewhere else to get the product I desired and she told me to wait until Sumer before I get my hair done again. While I agree with waiting between bleaches I don't understand why a stylist would tell a client after knowing they didn't deliver to not pursue getting it the way they wanted it when they arrived for another 6 months. The total came out to $400. I didn't receive what I came in for and left very sad. just don't go here because It too way too much talking, explaining and anxiety to prevent a bad situation from being an even...

To be transparent, I haven’t lived in Atlanta in a while. But every time I do come visit and in a need of cut or color, I will always go to Melanie at Adore and I have been to countless stylist in New York. Luckily I have finally found my NY ppl. I digress…

First and foremost, the salon itself exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was trendy yet cozy, creating a space that made me feel instantly comfortable. Great lighting and tall ceilings.

But let's talk about the true star of the show: Melanie Bell. This talented professional is a true artist when it comes to hair color. Her expertise and knowledge were evident from the start as she took the time to understand my desires and discuss various options that would suit me best. Her attention to detail and genuine passion for her craft were truly impressive. She has been an instructor for many years.

During the coloring process, Melanie is meticulous in her technique. She displays an incredible level of precision, ensuring that color will look amazing at different angles.

The results? Absolutely stunning! The hair color and placement is even better than what I had envisioned, perfectly complementing my skin tone and bringing out the best in my features.

What truly sets her apart, however, is her commitment to maintaining the health and integrity of the hair. Throughout the coloring process, she used high-quality products and techniques that ensured my hair stayed vibrant and healthy. She even took the time to educate me on post-color care, providing valuable tips and recommendations to keep my color looking fresh for as long as possible.

In conclusion, if you're in search of a hair colorist who possesses unmatched talent, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine passion for their craft, look no further than Melanie Bell. The entire experience, from the warm and welcoming salon environment to the flawless and breathtaking results, was truly exceptional. I can not...
