edit after his response, original review is under this response: stop acting like you know everything it’s honestly really embarrassing for you as a business owner lol, i was at my house not in the car first, second look up the ingredients of oreos, the whole reason i didn’t get oreo is because y’all confirmed y’all use real name brand oreos WHICH HAVE SOY, and why are you lying 😂 i never asked for a full refund i asked for a refund for MY ICECREAM. You sound like you need some soul searching and to be alone for a little bit because the way you think you can talk to customers is crazy.
original review: just know their menu says soy free, but they use REAL OREOS in their edgewood oreo icecream (which both the manager and assistant manager confirmed)…. which have soy in them… and when i let the gm know he immediately got defensive saying they don’t but it takes a simple look at the ingredients to know they do, and when i told them i didn’t like the ice cream i got and told them i can bring it back and throw it away in front of them so they know im not just trying to get my money back he acted like i was saying give it too the next person that comes up there, and told me it was a “user error” and said they are a “small business and could only refund 7$ in the system and that i’m the first person ever asking for a refund” “and “they lost the product so they can’t give a full refund but said they would give a full credit and the 7$ bc it’s better than taking money all the money out of the register” meaning they would be losing product/money regardless, and everytime i tried to talk he interrupted me or was sarcastically laughing and then gave the phone to someone else because he didn’t wanna deal with it, she was nicer… still only got a...
Read moreFantastic Vegan Ice Cream & Exceptional Service!
I had the pleasure of visiting Eighty 7 Sweets for the first time, and it was truly an experience worth having. I was craving vegan ice cream and was so excited to find out that they use coconut milk as the base, which I absolutely love. Even better, everything is made fresh daily!
The ice cream itself was delicious. The vanilla was incredibly light, smooth, and refreshing—a perfect balance of flavor and texture. The pecan had a rich sweetness to it—a great choice for those who enjoy something on the sweeter side—though it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. My mother, who is not vegan, was open to trying it as well. She had the Oreo ice cream and really enjoyed the experience! It was different from what she’s used to, but she’s definitely open to coming back and exploring more flavors.
The environment inside is small yet inviting, making you feel attended to and valued. We arrived right before closing, and although our wait was longer than expected, KP’s incredible customer service more than made up for it. I quickly saw why things were taking a little longer—KP was ensuring that every customer received the same quality experience. Even though it was closing time, she never rushed us as we explored our options. Instead, she took her time to make sure we got the same welcoming experience as if the shop had just opened. That level of patience and care truly stood out!
I’m so grateful for this experience and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for high-quality vegan ice cream with thoughtful, top-tier service, Eighty 7 Sweets is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Read moreIt's a quaint, boutique styled welcoming space. Very cozy, cool atmosphere. It's by far the best ice cream I've ever had, but the stand out element is the outstanding customer service served to every customer by your exceptional employee KP, who's more like a super Host. KP's knowledge base, attitude, vibe & people skills are second to none. Somehow you leave there feeling better & iIt has somewhat of a magical aire to it. One of my fav spaces in the world because of the best customer service served to every customer, by the extraordinary employee KP. Highly recommend to all downtown Atlanta visitors. P.S To the company execs: In an age where customer service has almost vanished KP is a secret weapon and key element to your company's growth. KP is most definitely executive material and needs to train all management on how to properly serve a paying customer, which is with respect first. Fir this skill has been long abandoned. I'm not just talking service with a smile, KP delivers " SERVICE WITH A HEART." You feel like a human being and not just another customer. In times like these, such gestures of basic humanity are absolutely invaluable and moreso needed. I nominate KP the " Executive Employee of the...
