New place near underground ATL, was super excited to go and experience Utopia as I had seen promotions online but left extremely disappointed. The establishment itself was very nice and had fun lighting and decor, but where it lacked for me was the service. It took a long time to be greeted & server was very lackluster when speaking with the table once she came over. We had to ask multiple staff members to get a table cleaned off multiple times due to the lack of attention from the server assigned to our table. No sense of urgency on staffs end. We placed an order for 2 drinks and it took about 25 minutes to get them, and then for them to come out wrong was even more shocking. We didn’t correct the mistake as we weren’t looking to wait an hour to get the right first round of drinks. All the food came out lukewarm to cold. The music was pretty good except they did have restrictions on songs so it was less of a club vibe and more of a relaxed lounge so better for earlier in the evening outings, not late night. The service lacked attentiveness throughout the evening, and the server waited till the dj was over and people had began leaving to try to check out everyone, then accused us for people not closing out their tabs who we weren’t even associated and did not know them, again… unprofessional. When we got the bill there were multiple things that were rang in for higher prices than what they were priced at on the online menu that was provided at the tables which was another distasteful moment. Every bill has a 20% auto gratuity which I didn’t mind as I fully understand tips are how they make their money but it was clearly taken advantage of as they know they are getting tipped allowing them to slack on the actual service. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an upscale atmosphere that exudes sophistication and charm. The handcrafted cocktails are a highlight of the menu, and I was thoroughly impressed with my choices. The Moon Espresso Martini was a delightful fusion of rich espresso and smooth spirits, making it the perfect pick-me-up. Additionally, the Fusion Mojito was refreshingly vibrant with just the right balance of mint and sweetness.

For appetizers, we indulged in the lamb sliders and chicken adobo tostadas. Both were phenomenal! The sliders were tender and packed with flavor, while the tostadas offered a unique twist with their savory and spicy profile.

For the main course, we savored the ribeye, cooked to perfection at medium. It was incredibly juicy and tender, served alongside baby carrots and rosemary potatoes that complemented the dish flawlessly.

From the moment we stepped into Utopia Lounge, we were met with a vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere — the kind of place that immediately sets the tone for a great night out. But what truly made our experience unforgettable wasn’t just the vibe, the cocktails, or even the food. It was Zoie, our server, who absolutely stole the show with her outstanding service, warm energy, and natural attentiveness. She is, without a doubt, one of the best servers I’ve had the pleasure of encountering — not just at Utopia, but anywhere.

The second Zoie approached our table, she had this calm confidence and authentic smile that immediately made us feel welcomed. She didn’t just recite the specials like a script — she delivered them with genuine excitement, highlighting her personal favorites and giving us little insider tips on what to pair them with. It didn’t feel rehearsed. It felt real. You could tell she loves what she does, and that energy is contagious.
