Mr Fries Man — Restaurant in Atlanta

I’ve been to Atlanta plenty and ALWAYS make Mr Fries Man a stop whenever visiting. This time around I decided to take my wife along with me and it was an enjoyable meal, but only because we did Take Out.

Mr Fries Man is a great quick service restaurant where you can take your meal to-go and enjoy it somewhere else. They do have tables within the restaurant, but it’s not something I’d recommend. The restaurant is a small store front near Georgia State University, but sadly on a street with a poor oder to it almost of piss, the area is in economic decline and looks bleak in comparison to parts further north in Midtown Atlanta.

Although I give them a lot of smack for their location which they can’t really do much in terms of the surrounding area, the food itself and the people working there are what make this restaurant a great place to visit and order food from! No matter who is working the store front, the person working is always attentive and asking if you need assistance with the self order machine, sometimes they are a bit slow to get to you but not often.

Finally, the FOOD!!!! 🤤😋🤤😋 The food is absolutely amazing and although not healthy at all, why on earth would you come here if you’re trying to be healthy? LOL! My wife got the Lemon Garlic Chicken (Jr Size) and I got the Buffalo Ranch Chicken (Reg Size). Both had tons of flavor, plenty of sauce, and were fresh! So I placed an order online for pickup. It told me my order would be ready in 10 mins. 10 minutes later when I arrived at Mr. Fries Man, I was told it would be an additional 5 minutes so I thought okay no big deal? They must be finishing up. NOPEEEEE, She then walked to the freezer & pulled the fries out to NOW start making my order…. After about 10 additional minutes, she came up to the front and informed me that the drink that was placed with my order wasn’t available and that “this was all they got” (while being showed a almost empty fridge) I responded & told her I didn’t want anything in the fridge and asked for a refund. Her response was “ WE DONT DO REFUNDS.” So I said I didnt want anything in the fridge she then said “ You can wait till my manager comes in to see what we can do” so I said no because you just told me you don’t do refunds so I already know you are not mentioning it to your manager. So I was forced to leave with a Beverage that I did NOT want. WHAT BUSINESS DOESN’T GIVE OUT REFUND FOR SOMETHING A CUSTOMER PAIDDDD FOR THAT YOU DONT HAVE IT? & THEN FOR THE EMPLOYEE TO HAVE ATTITUDES WHILE TAKING CARE OF CUSTOMERS FOR SOMETHING THAT COULD’VE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE SITE HAD THE CORRECT INFORMATION IS BEYOND CRAZY. I usually don’t leave reviews but I’m going to this time. I went to get an Uber order for a customer nd the lightskin lady upfront had headphones in blasting music. So then she came up to the front I told her “hi I have a order name for” and she said nothing not even a hi nd went and grabbed the order and handed it to me so then I started delivering the food nd I noticed she forgot the drink so I went back and drove to the location again. I walked in she said “ do we have a problem” and I said u forgot the drink she proceeds to put her headphones back on and listen to her music and just hands me the drink she forgot. So I proceed to deliver the order thinking all is well until i get to the customers house and she says that the name and the order isn’t hers. So I told the customer the lady in the front was very unprofessional and didn’t do her job right at all nd she understood. So just to end this off “Mr fries” if ur looking at this please make sure u FIRE the lady in the front. Some people just don’t deserve jobs. I’ll always say this why get a job if u don’t want to work nobody...
