Overall it has the potential to be a decent subway station. I do believe that the directional signs could use some slight additions or changes. If you are a tourist, "not from here" or just plain not familiar with the subway system....Five Points Station could leave you unsure of which direction to go, when changing or transferring trains from North/South to East/West direction. There are plenty of signs but all are not necessarily visible in terms of the "How" to transfer to another direction... depending on where you get off of the train. Hopefully, this will change after the minor construction that is going on right now is complete. The biggest problem is lack of Security and/or any Marta Personnel. It's none existing at present, which means any and everything goes on in the station and on the train (blatant smoking of everything; pan-handlers; drunks; loud music; serious littering on trains and at this station... basically every thing that Marta says is prohibited)! It causes unnecessary stress for those simply trying to commute to work or those who want to enjoy mass transit to get to what Atlanta...
Read morePlease do a better job of enforcing your rules and regulations. I've been riding Marta for 15years. Some IDIOT is always on the train blasting their filthy trap music. No one wants to hear your mumble rap at 7am OR 7pm when they get off.
Also. And I say this with all honesty. Your African American FEMALE drivers are the most rude, bitchy, unfriendly professionals I have ever encountered. I've been left at the bus stop and a 73bus driver closed the doors right in my face as I was boarding. Yall got some RUDE ass women driving them busses. Please make them aware their job is to BE OF SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC CITIZENS OF ATLANTA. If they don't want a well paying job GIVE IT UP TO SOMEONE WHO WILL SERVE THE PUBLIC WITH PROPER ETTIQUETE.
I also witnessed one of your garbage sweeper verbally assault a passenger. Cuss words and all at 5pts station. I asked the fat cop leaned against the wall if he was going to intervene.
He smugly replied "what! Everything that happen I gotta get involved" these are the people my tax dollars are paying??? That was your Marta police officer. Yall need to do...

What really happens on a daily basis here
I usually bring my Uniden scanner to different places that I have been to and listen to it before, during, or after a ride on the MARTA rail. During 4/2/24, According to the scanner, someone had gotten robbed on Train number 307 and rude people sleeping on trains, specifically Train number 315. On an unknown train, a door fault had occurred on a train while it was loaded, making a dangerous situation. This was heard which deboarding from Buckhead Station.
What I experienced
The station had a big smell of smoke and cigarettes, the seats were mildly dirty with a certain brown stain on them, most of the trains were on-time according to the MARTA mobile app and station signs, the MARTA employees are decent to say the least. After getting off at Peachtree after taking a round trip, there was a broken screen but you can clearly see there was protection glass around it so something big must have broke it.
In conclusion, not a safe mode of...
