Woodruff Park in the 90s was a chill spot to unwind with many Chess games and other games being played by respectful ppl relaxing ... Office workers could also chill there ... After the 2008 Financial Collapse the young white anti bank groups brought a lot of strange ppl with no connection to the downtown area and literally destroyed the peacefulness and cleanliness in woodruff park and in the immediate area ... Then around 2013 georgia started importing a lot of impoverished immigrants from the Caribbean and Africa and many ended up destitute along with the local homeless ppl and all of them living in the park ... Later, after the closing of some atlanta homeless shelters and also several groups coming to feed the ppl, woodruff park and nearby hurt park became famous as refuge parks for the atlanta homeless to get meals ... And now you see the culmination and results of those different events ... The park belongs to the homeless now ... Plz like or dislike my reviews ......

Depending on which part of the park you end up in you can't have such different experiences, the side on tour my picture from is closer to the Peachtree Center Station and more business operations, the nicer one. The other ones I walk through to get to classes are always filled with homeless people and making the overall experience less pleasant. You do get free wireless in the park but with the craziness of homeless people fighting, it's very hard to really enjoy yourself for too long. Occasionally, GSU and/or other operations take over the park to host events but that's just a few times throughout the year. Nice remodel of the park over the last couple of years but still not what it uses to...
Read moreI was totally upset with the horrible hospitality that was so disrespectful to a U.S.Marines veteran for my presence to be removed from simply sitting down in a sitting area alongside the Atlanta downtown's rail car line because they assumed that I had no money and I was redirected away from the rail cars seating area in the early morning hours of Wed morning. I should receive something very honorably rewarded for not causing a bigger racial discrimination complaint on the Two affiliates that were employed through Atlanta downtown's guest services for the entire downtown area going needed information to tourists and/or...
