I came here to get my locs dyed purple. I previously tried to color them myself but the color was too burgundy because I did not bleach my hair prior to. My appointment was rescheduled twice at the last minute. On the rescheduled date the stylist was about 30 mins late for my appointment. I informed her that I wanted purple locs but was okay with a more fuchsia color. I made sure to reiterate that I did not want my hair to turn out pink. After the first to tell at coloring my hair apparently the dye did not take in my hair turned out an orange color so it had to be redyed and it turned out pinkish magenta which is exactly what I did not want. I normally do not go to stylist to do my hair but I really wanted my hair colored. I feel like the stylist was extremely rough when handling my hair. I was also disappointed not only with the outcome of the color but with the lack of aftercare instructions and education on how to maintain the integrity of my locs after having it bleached. At one point during the appointment she had to leave to go to another appointment and I was left at the salon by myself for about an hour and a half. My hair was re-twisted extremely tight and I did not ask for a re-twist but I was still charged for it. Also no conditioning or product was applied to my hair to soften it or help with the damage caused by the bleach. Currently my hair is extremely fragile. I personally feel like I over paid to get results that I did not want and I am extremely disappointed in the service that I received. I will not...

If you are looking for professionalism, cleanliness and getting what you paid for then please look elsewhere. I recently did the big chop, so my hair is really short. I wanted my hair to be cut shorter and for some product to be added to make my twa pop. I paid 80 dollars plus tax for a shampoo and sloppy finger coil twist that I could have and should have done at home. Small, tight and neat finger coils can be nice and provide great curl definition when unraveled. Not to mention that she used the clear gel you can get at dollar tree that flakes terribly.😒 She was a little late, she asked me pay before I went under the dryer, then she left for a good hour. Needless to say once the dryer stopped I left. I will NEVER return to this place. Customers should get what they ask for no matter the stylists opinion. Her detangling technique on natural hair could also use some work...a wide tooth comb would be nice. Overall my experience was not very pleasant. Ayanna is EXTREMELY professional! She is very mindful of the quality of her work and her attention to detail is uncanny. I appreciate the feedback I received from her regarding the style I was requesting. It is not often when you come across a stylist that doesn't make you feel as if you are just a mannequin in the chair. I felt seen and my hair felt cared for. She isn't as chatty as most stylists which is not a negative. Her attitude is to get the job done properly and efficiently to respect your time and the customers coming in after. I received bantu knots which I received MULTIPLE COMPLIMENTS from. If you have an doubts, ease your mind and come get your hair done. My hair is 🔥🔥🔥
