Let's start with the positives: the staff. Most of the staff here were absolutely great human beings that were incredibly pleasant to talk to and had great suggestions for things to do and were very attentive to our needs.I'd like to give an extra shout out to Abas Yusuf he was very kind, informative, and took excellent care of our car the day we used the valet services. The entrance to the hotel is also a sight to see coming from someone who is working basically all the time and hasn't had a vacation in a few years the interior was grand. Unfortunately that's about where the positives end. The valet costs 60 dollars per night and the only other option for parking is down the street and costs 35 a night. Then comes the overpriced and lackluster food don't get me wrong my party of 2 in no way tried all the avaliable options but when you're paying as much as we did you would expect the food to be fresh. We also had one of our 4 dollar water bottles taken from our room by I'm assuming a house keeper as she had entered right as we were exiting one day I wasn't going to make a fuss about it but the last day of our stay was lackluster so I figured I'd put that out there. I took videos and pictures before we left our room each day so I know that water bottle had not been used by either me or my mom after all we had bought a case of water. Next is the elevator the one on the far left began acting up one day when we used it we were in the elevator with two other guests when it began to jerk and bounce from the 7th floor all the way to the lobby we made sure to let one of the front desk staff know and it seemed to be resolved. Now comes the worst part... Bedbugs. Yes unfortunately for us when we were getting ready to leave earlier this morning I noticed a bug crawling on my shorts I immediately noticed it appeared to be full of blood so I quickly used a disposable coffee cup to catch it and took pictures and videos. I got up and pulled the cushion off the chair I was sitting on and saw a super tiny bedbug also full of blood crawling underneath it however it was too fast and small to catch. I began to check the room and was unable to find anymore live bugs but I did come across some questionable spots on the walls im not sure if it was bedbug droppings or not but I also took photos of that. Not wanting to make a scene I called the front desk and let them know after all we were about to check out I must admit they had quite a fast response time and after about 5 minutes a staff member was at our door. I showed him the captured bug and it took him only seconds to identify it as a bedbug. Lastly after we checked out and began to head home I realized I had a missed call from the hotel at around 10:30 I decided to call back assuming it was either them confirming we had checked out or possibly found an item we left behind by accident. Well I was able to get a hold of a customer service representative quickly however when I relayed why I was calling she told me she would transfer me to the front desk were I remained on hold for about 15 minutes before the call suddenly ended. I wasn't very pleased by this but I figured I'd just wait a couple hours and try again. Once again it was easy to get a hold of a customer service representative who once more said she'd have to transfer me to the front desk after waiting 5 minutes I decided enough was enough and headed to Google to...
Read moreWhere do I begin Attendant let me put the luggage myself walked my bags less than 20 feets and kept looking back at me and then looked angrily at me for no tipping him than attendent number 2 who was grumpy downstairs when I asked him simple question about my luggage but was super nice and chatty when he got to the room. Valet(guy with braids) was a chill and nice guy and so was the lady at the check in desk. Hotel looks nice from the outside and lobby, but the room was far from it (I will post ton of pictures later) Bathroom: showercurtins were dirty and was not placed properly, box had no tissues, towels had dirt and hair on them, mirrors were not properly cleaned even the card that the hotel name was just laying on the table instead of upright, not to mention all kind of paint marks on the door and wall and scratches and skidmarks and dirty sink cabinet . Now Infront of the room door: dirt by the fridge and under the cabinet and a spill that was not cleaned and ugly scratch marks by the safe. Room: skidmarks all over the walls, dirt, hair, feathers on cover and bed, dirt on the floor dirty counter tops and what looked like syrup under them on the edge dirty chair and even dirtier armchair and extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows. Balcony: dirty like its not part of the room to clean and the view was horrible. Experience in the room: one of the neighbors smoking weed and having the smell in our room loud music in the streets at night, and I am not exaggerating internet speed was beyond horrible it wouldn't even open a simple page our internet in the 90s was faster than it, and it was the whole stay and not temporary. Now checking out: I went to checkout as soon as I woke up because I wanted to leave this hotel as fast as possible took my luggage downstairs because I didn't want to deal with the attendants again and went to the lobby and they told me to pick my car from lobby 3 went there out of breath from my luggage got car key and was going back to the lobby to get the luggage and the valet started mumbling about his tip (I was planning to give him as soon as I brought the luggage and took a breath but it wasn't according to his timing) as I was walking away and slammed my car door and then ran to me and told me I cant have my car key until come back and when I did he ignored me and made me wait so I had to yell for the other Valet's attention to get me my car key(and just imagine I paid $55 a night for this horrible experience). I couldn't have driven out of there fast enough what a horrible experience from the get go, Tipping here is mandatory it's not a thank you for a job welldone, but a threat dont tip me and I will treat you like trash and make you miserable. I am beyond baffled how this is a Hyatt 4 star hotel with 4.3...

Check-In: I called days before arriving to try to arrange arrive early check in and as we know that varies and we were told to call the hotel day off. We got to the hotel around 11 am Saturday to do a pre-check-in and drop our bags. I asked if it was possible for me to check-in early and they said they would have a room ready for me between 1pm - 2pm. I left and went along with the schedule that I had a planned for that day. Around 1:30pm I received a call from the hotel saying I could check in early and it would be a $25 fee to do so. I acknowledge the fee which was no problem and headed to the hotel. Once at the hotel I was told that the room was in fact not ready and that I would now have to wait until 4pm to check-in. This was a total inconvenience because I left the event I was at early to come check-in, then had to wait around for a few more hours waiting on the room to get ready. So now we are fillabusting time which coulda have been avoided. My bf failed by not asking who the rep was so don’t know who confirmed but this was a communication oversight
Valet service: Overnight valet is $60 a night and we stayed at the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. Saturday night me and my bf had dinner reservations at 9pm. We went down stairs to get the car around 8:30-8:40. We WAITED OVER 30mins for them to bring the car around. Another couple waited 45 mins and another couple waited 20 mins. There was about five staffers around and only about 3-4 couples so we were already confused about the wait and we watched as others came and were able to get their car before us. After asking staff for our car we then realized the wrong car was brought. We ended up having to push our reservation back luckily the restaurant could accommodate.
Room: The room was nice. We stayed on the 20th floor with a balcony and city views. I was told that house keeping came by your room daily but in this case they did not. Me and my bf left Sunday morning around 10am and didn’t return until after 5pm. Housekeeping had not been to our room until I called and asked if they could come bring some fresh towels and wash cloths. There was also a roach in our room resulting in us closing all our bags and moving them from a part of the room. Also debris from the last guests weren’t swept from the balcony as we saw remnants from a previous stay already on balcony. These points really impacted our stay. The place is beautiful but these are things they took away from the beauty of...
