Moved to Midtown a few months ago, follow the work of the Alliance, and have gone to a few meetings. They have ideas, encourage public transit within the neighborhood and with businesses, promote a lively community-oriented living space, aren't anti-scooter (though are working on solutions to some of the issues with them), and are responsibile for many safety and cultural initiatives. Read moreOverall it us a great organization for the community; however would like to see more effort addressing safety concerns such as street lighting or better said lack of street lighting, unsafe/unsavory safety areas such as right in front of QT and nearby areas, the lack of control over electric scooters used by minors in midtown streets. This weekend saw children as young as 11 zigzaging in and out of traffic. Any hope some of these issues will be addressed?
