One month ago, I dropped off a package at this location and associate Christin (Chris) labeled my package completely WRONG and gave me the wrong tracking number for the package, after days of watching tracking I realized the tracking number was saying the package was "not received by store." I went into the store location to get answers very respectfully and calmly and the store manager Xavier ran the cameras back and informed me that the fault was completely on Christin as he was able to confirm and see that she made an egregious error. I sought out answers on how this issue would be rectified seeing as though the package was valuable! The manager acted as though he would help, took my contact info and was steadily trying to vouch for this employee stating several times how "good" she is but unfortunately that was NOT my experience with Chris. I went home and gave the store a call back because I had a couple more questions and once he got on the phone, he switched completely up from the helpful information that he gave me when I was in store to now basically saying that i'm on my own and that I now have to contact the receiver of my package and have us on the run around behind the package and compensation when he said the store would handle it when we were face to face. I do not appreciate this experience considering that I have been using UPS for years! I have not had any issues prior and I certainly have never had an issue that UPS could not resolve if they were at fault. I am grieved by this situation as now I don't have possession of the package nor have I been compensated .. SMH. I wish for more professionalism from this store and for UPS to right this wrong. Hopefully customer service/UPS will bring a positive...
Read moreYou should avoid this store and go somewhere else. They are dishonest and will not compensate you if they damage your package.
I have never written a negative review about anyone in my life; I generally try to be an understanding person. But this experience was so bad, I feel I should share.
We shipped a computer (paid UPS Store to pack and insure it), and received it damaged. The store owner verbally accepted responsibility, and agreed to send necessary paperwork to UPS Corporate to process the insurance claim. He never sent the paperwork, kept claiming it must have gotten lost, etc, etc. This owner is highly adept at the run-around! I eventually escalated to UPS Store corporate offices who continued to avoid processing our claim, even though they admitted on the phone and in emails that they were at fault. I spoke with three successive people who would sympathize with my experience, say they would get things moving, and then do nothing and avoid further phone calls from me. Very frustrating! We finally got resolution by personally tracking down a VP of the company and emailing the history to him. He was very dismayed by our experience and sent us a check. The whole process took seven months, and about 20 phone calls.
I should add that the check we received took days to clear our bank, which has never happened to us on other checks we received. Perhaps UPS Store is running low on cash, and that is why they avoid paying out any insurance claims, even...
Read moreThe staff here are not Customer Service friendly. They are lacking simple human to human engagement. When I walked in the store, I was not greeted. After I spoke to the staff who were all looking in my direction, not one reciprocated a response until I said, I would like to ship a package. at this time I had already walked up to the middle part of the counter pass where the register is, at this point there was a young heavyset caramel complected young guy usher me to a heavy set, dark skin lady as I started to walk back to the young lady, the guy with the bush kept staring at me with a unpleasant look. I feel like all three of these workers need to be properly trained on customer service. By the way, I am not trying to be rude in any shape form of fashion by describing the employees, but I did not recall seeing any name batches on them. Every time a customer walk in UPS door should be greeted With a smile and eye contact saying welcome to the UPS store, How can I help you? On Friday, June 20 around 2:45 PM. I did not experience that. I experienced three people who were in a UPS store who needed a job so they came and did what was necessary to get...
