I understand there are 100% 5-star reviews, but I want to share my experience for customers more like me.
I have no complaints about my services. I got a facial that included a hydro facial as well as demaplaning. They were done well as expected.
My main feedback is the way this place works Itās sterile, super sales focused and very clinical ā which isnāt a vibe that I enjoy for a facial treatment. Donāt expect any massage or frills with your treatments.
The first thing they did was stick my face in a box so I could see my skin magnified as well as with blue light. Trust me. No one should see their skin like that. Itās not relaxing and itās almost shaming.
While in the treatment it wasnāt relaxing at all. I could just feel the facialist trying to build a sale. Sheās taking about more expensive and advanced treatments for the future. Sheās trying to sell me on their subscription plan. Sheās also trying to sell me on their line of products. I was just feeling I was always being primed to buy something more than my almost $300 service. It made me stressed and not relaxed in the treatment at all.
Lastly, when my facial was done and Iām raw and red I was asked to take a photo. I refused. There was no before photo taken so I didnāt see the point and itās wasnāt like I was getting injectables. It totally added insult to injury.
If youāre looking for a soothing and relaxing facial this is not the place for you. Go to the Aviary, Kindred Studios or even the chain HeyDay with their open format still has a more relaxed environment.
Now, if you treat your skin like youāre going to a doctorās appointment and want a clinical experience you really will love this place ā down to a pages and pages of forms to fill out.
I wanted to love this place out of convenience and I bet theyāre great for the more advanced treatments. But I donāt like this kind of facial...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLast month I purchased a monthly facial subscription/gift card because itās the only way I can hold myself accountable for my self care. My first appointment was about 2 weeks ago with Kayla. First of all, when I checked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and offered me a refreshment. I was then met in their beautiful waiting room by Kayla. She was very personable, friendly and seemed like she was excited to perform my service. She walked me over to some sort of facial device that uses UV lightening to highlight your problem areas, which was cool to see. She pointed out a few things, suggested a treatment regimen based on my skin type and walked me to my private room. She further explained my treatment, plan of action and then went to work. When I tell you this was the BEST facial Iāve ever had⦠Not only was it relaxing but she was very knowledgeable, explained every part of the service and offered suggestions on what I can do at home to improve. At the end of the appointment, she walked me back to the UV device and I could see a complete difference in my skin. It was dewy, moisturized and literally glowed. I was so happy with the results, I purchased everything she told me to use š. I have not worn makeup pretty much ever since my facial. Dr. Kelly and his entire team are very professional and offer a luxury experience. From the moment you walk in, you feel special. 10/10 recommend and Iāll be sending my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not waste your time with this place. Certainly do not waste your time with Brittany Suchanek who is more concerned with Instagram followers than she is helping women. I paid $50 for a consultation to see her and she would not even come into the room until I paid an additional $100 and received 25 units of filler to quote āmake it worth her time.ā She treated me like a second class citizen for no reason. I really wanted to be a client, but I will never go back and I will tell everyone I can about the disrespect I encountered.
RESPONSE TO SKINLABāS Spin below: ā¦it is all bs. She 1000% said I needed to pay $100 extra and a minimum of 25 units to āmake it worth her whileā. This was after I scheduled A consultation, letting them have full knowledge of the idea that I had treatment two weeks prior while out of town. The point was, I wanted to find a reputable place to move forward with and get a baseline for how my body responded after treatment two weeks prior. Nothing shady there. She was 2000% NOT with a client. She was sitting outside the room on her computer when her assistant escorted me out of the treatment room. This was my experience and the misunderstanding was on my end, thinking that this was a reputable place that I could be with for...
