After reading positive reviews about Chris' jewelry, I purchased a $400 gold necklace. Unfortunately, the necklace broke in half while I was wearing it during my trip out of town. I put the broken necklace in a zip lock bag and put it away in my personal bag for safe keeping (the one that stays with you on a plane at all times, not checked nor carryon).
A few days later I make it home and I pull the bag with the necklace out and see it’s no longer in 2 pieces but in several pieces. I brought the broken necklace back to Chris, hoping he could fairly compensate me for it. However, he only offered a nominal discount on a future purchase. I felt this was unfair, considering the money I spent and that it “disintegrated” within 2 weeks of me buying it. Chris insinuated that I was lying about what happened and told me "next time, get your story straight."
I have no reason to lie and have always been honest in my reviews. If you look at the photo I included, you’ll see what the necklace looked like within the first week and what it looked like 2 weeks after purchase. The only way that should happen to a necklace is if you take a knife to it and chop it into pieces, which I did not do. It makes no sense to do that and risk losing my money and/or my necklace.
To be clear, I don’t think Chris intentionally sold me a bad item. I imagine most of his collection is decent if not great. However, if you have the misfortune of being sold a poor quality item like me, don’t expect him to compensate you fairly for...
Read moreMy husband had been looking at jewelry for months well he found what he was looking for at Mr. Chris Da Jeweler on Peachtree Street in Atlanta. We drove down from Chattanooga TN. We purchased several pieces at a very reasonable price. Indi one of the owners, was awesome he gave us his undivded attention, and he also had the bezeled G-shock watch my husband wanted delivered to us in store same day. Funny thing the security guard on duty Ray, was awesome as well as he noticed I was getting a bit impatient about the wait he kept me company and kept me laughing with his sense of humor he really made of feel at home while we were there in the store. I'll be quite honest I was skeptical at first because of the reviews I read online about some of these Jewelers but I must say Mr. Chris Da Jeweler is definitely one of a kind and I'm glad we decided to go because we were so satisfied with the service and product that we placed another order before we left the store..We recommend Mr. Chris Da Jeweler to all those that want the look but not so much the price....see Indi when you go tell him Orlanda and Erica sent you.👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍Thank you Indi and Ray ....see...
Read moreAnother great jewelry store that sells Pandora bracelets and charms. I bought a latch bead for a bracelet here and really love it. I've collected Pandora and other charm bracelets for over 30 years and look for these type stores everywhere we go. I'll be back to see what's new next time we go to Atlanta. They have a great selection and I'm always looking for a new bead to add. Or a new bracelet or bangle when I fill up my latest one. It takes a while to complete one when you buy one or two...
