I'm surprised to receive this request to review T.A.G. Salon since I've not visited them in over a year. Guess I should rate my last appointment there. My appointment was the first of the day with the stylist. She called me at home before I left and indicated that she would be 1/2 hour late. That was fine -- I just left home later. When I arrived she was not there. I waited for at least 30 minutes before Amir came over, asked what service i was waiting for and started to apply my color. When my stylist did arrive she never apologized or offered any explanation. I was done!! T.A.G. Salon is great if you have a stylist who respects your time and you want your natural hair straightened without chemicals. Not so much if you want your natural curl pattern defined. If I didn't get my hair flat iron straightened or a rod set or a flat twist, conditioner was applied to my hair and I was sent on my way. I'm happy I found a natural hair stylist who takes the time to define my curl pattern an sends me on my way with a fabulous naturally curly doo!! Natural Xpression Salon is my choice and...

Before my visit to TAG Concept Salons I read a number of reviews from various customers, who have showered the stylists with numerous compliments. I must say that they were absolutely spot-on in their reviews, for this salon did NOT disappoint. They were very professional and extremely sweet. I was treated with the utmost respect by everyone.

Amir dyed my curls for me, and I was most satisfied. He knew exactly what color would match what I had in mind. In addition to being quite friendly, he provided quality service all throughout. Best natural hair salon experience I've ever had. My 14 year old daughter, who has fear of curling irons, also had nothing but praises for how comfortable she was with her hairdresser because she could not feel any burning during the process unlike with other places we have visited. My only concern was that she was abandoned by her hairdresser half way through the process when the gentleman told her he would "be right back" and took more than an hour before returning. My daughter only got another hairdresser when I asked about it. Management should be more hands on to avoid a great salon's reputation brought down by an uncaring...
