The Worst Experience Ever!! My 3 daughters took me here to celebrate Mother’s Day because I love music and we were seated directly in front of the DJ which meant we could not hold a conversation what so ever because the music was SUPER LOUD and the small walkway area in front of the DJ area where people were coming to dance (mostly line dance) so imagine small space and line dancing directly by our table so we asked if we could be moved to a table that we noticed was empty and was told by the server that it was reserved for a larger party but soon after she seated a party of 3 at that table so that was issue #1. So we’re eating and just trying to vibe and my daughter who was sitting across from me started yelling really loud “they’re fighting, they’re fighting “ and before I could react these 2 grown men were in that small space behind my chair where I’m sitting directly over top of me fighting like entangled, moving furniture so I/we jumped up leaving everything behind and moved as quickly as I/we could and I immediately noticed that my shoulder and foot was hurting. While all of this was going on and the men are being wrestled to the floor by security the music is still blaring SUPER LOUD and it’s pure chaos! Security put them out(police was not called) so obviously a report was not made. Our table is now in the middle of the floor due to how hard these men were fighting, my daughters purse and everything from her purse were slung all over the floor, one of the men’s cap landed and was left in the chair that I had been sitting in. I’m standing there in shock and I made the manager Johnny aware that I was injured. He said that he would have me to make a report with the police that was manning the door. My daughter goes to retrieve her ID from the hostess and the officer comes to get me to complete the report so I make him aware that my daughter is getting her ID so I’m waiting for her before I leave out of the restaurant and because the music is still blaring of course I had to speak loudly for him to hear me and he gets crazy saying “Calm down, calm down” and walks away from me with an attitude which baffled me. The server comes with new food and I tell her that we didn’t order it and she said, she (my daughter) ordered it before everything happened so I told her that we didn’t want it because due to the circumstances we’re not going to remain here and continue as if nothing happened and she gets crazy attitude and repeats herself saying “well she ordered it”! She ultimately took it away but I had to get real firm with her before she did in the midst of everything that was already going on and I’m in pain smh. The manager Johnny never showed empathy but is so concerned about the bill says that he’s willing to take half off the bill, walks away, comes back and says, I watched the video and you were not hit, your bill is $350.00 so the best that I can do for you is lower it to $265.00 or some odd amount and I immediately refused because yes I’m hurt but I’m not a fool so for 1 there were no way that 4 $20 bottomless mimosas in which I never had the chance to even get my bottle of champagne open to have 1 drink before everything happened, 1 $18 Cali Wrap, 1 $14 Spinach Dip, 1 order of buffalo wings, and 1 hookah that never got smoked due to the shenanigans added up to $350.00 so I asked to see the video also since this is the focal point and a white lady named Kyra came out with a tiny cell phone recording and we watched and she stated “ so see, your food was never knocked off the table onto the floor “ and I then looking baffled stated “ I never said that, I said that I was injured”, and her disposition immediately changed and she stated, “we’re clearing your entire bill, just tip your server “ and walked away. Ok, moral of the story, everyone was so focused on the freaking bill that there were no empathy or sincerity shown to the fact that I had stated numerous times that I was injured. It was like pulling teeth to get officer A. Brooks badge # 8133 to provide me with a complaint # because he was so...

After reading many positive reviews I decided to plan a coworker happy hour here. Needless to say, we will not be back, and my office is in midtown and Wicked Wolf just lost all our business. We came here for a chill afternoon happy hour, arriving on a Tuesday around 4:00pm. The music was so loud that we had to yell to even hear each other. Many in our party even left, saying they were getting a headache. I asked several times for the music to be turned down. At one point, the server told me they were auditioning a new DJ and when the managers came out of a manager meeting, she would get permission to ask the new DJ to stop. Now tell me, how does that make any sense? How is an establishment going to audition a new talent but then be in a meeting so they can’t hear it? Needless to say, to have the music at “club level” on a Tuesday at 4:00pm is not the vibe I was going for.
BEWARE, Wicked Wolf is running an overbilling scam. Since the music was so loud I pointed directly to the $5.00 Tuesday margarita special on the menu (the server could not hear me over the DJ). My bill showed they had charged me $9.00 for the “millionaire margarita” when that is never what I ordered. I specifically pointed to the happy hour margarita, and there is no mistaking that on the menu. I also ordered a round of shots for the table, which came to $200.00. When I did the math, it came to $14.00 per shot, which is WAY OVERPRICED. I’ve never had tequila that costs so much money, and the shots weren’t even that good. When the shots cost more that the margarita, it just shows the establishment is taking advantage of people who come here to drink and have fun and don’t pay much attention to the bill.
I noticed this all when paying the bill but I wanted to save face, so I paid the bill quietly but determined to never go back. The only positive is that the food is decent…and I would say that the server was nice….but I think she was only nice so she could pull off the drink scam. If you are looking for a chill atmosphere with reasonable drink prices, this is definitely not the place for you. There are many other places in midtown with honest prices and better drinks. And you can actually visit with your friends without...
Read moreI attended a party at this place tonight, which seemed to be one of those events where they turn the venue into a club. Let me start by saying this as objectively as possible: the music was terrible, the atmosphere was lackluster, and the place was so cramped that it was impossible to have any fun. For a nightclub, isn’t this the most basic expectation? Just based on this, I wouldn’t come back.
However, what truly shocked me was an incident that happened during the night. I wasn’t drunk — I was just bored and leaning against a fixed bar counter since the music was dull, and the space was extremely crowded. Out of nowhere, a white bartender threw a handful of ice directly at my face without saying a single word. If I wasn’t supposed to sit or lean there, he could have politely told me or even asked someone else to convey the message. But instead, he chose to act rudely and disrespectfully by throwing ice at me.
I felt utterly disrespected, especially since one of my friends had even reserved one of the very few tables available at the venue. I confronted the bartender and asked him, “Why did you do that?” He simply replied, “Nothing.” I then asked, “If it’s nothing, why did you throw ice at me?” He responded by threatening to have me kicked out. Shortly after, I was indeed escorted out of the venue.
Even worse, two of my friends tried to go back inside to retrieve our belongings and get some water but were also rudely turned away. The staff even yelled profanities at us. It felt as though the employees were banding together to mistreat us, which was incredibly disrespectful.
No one bothered to investigate what had actually happened. I believe anyone hearing this story would agree that my anger is completely justified. Imagine standing there, zoned out and minding your own business, only to have someone throw ice at your face and look at you with contempt. From their behavior and that of the other staff, I couldn’t help but feel that this was racially motivated. For context, I am Asian. If we had been a group of white customers, would we have been treated the same way? I seriously doubt it. In fact, I don’t think anyone would have thrown ice at us in the first place.
If you’re planning to attend an event here after reading this, that’s your choice. But...
