Horrible customer service! I purchased a Samsung tablet from there two weeks ago for my 12 year old daughter's birthday and when she got the gift she opened it up only to find out that a used (what we found out later it was a retail mode in-store tablet that only retailers have access to) tablet was in the box. No problem I thought, this is Target and I'm sure it was just a mistake and the people who wear red clothes are always nice and cheerful. WRONG!!!! when I brought the issue to their attention they told me they had to complete some type of investigation before I could be given a resolution for my problem. After two days and several attempts in contacting customer service, I got no where. In fact, one of the employees told me that they will refuse the return. Wow, Samsung tech support found out exactly what the issue was with both tablets (the one that came in the box, and the one that should have been in the box) btw I had both tablet serial numbers and model numbers. The tablet that should have been in the box warranty information was activated on 12/2/2020 which is almost three months before I even took possession of the box. The tablet that came in the box did not have any consumer warranty information and was told to me by the Samsung tech that no one could have possibly purchased this tablet because it was in retail mode and owned by the retailer (which in this case was the Target on Brown Rd in Auburn hills MI). Even after all of that, they still would not give me a return. Furthermore, no one even looked at the tablet that came in the box in the 1st place. I had to end up calling the Auburn hills police department to send an officer out because Target is trying to make me take possession of stolen goods which belong to them. The officer that arrived was very rational and he explained to the store management what happened, and only after that they were willing to give me a refund and a $20 gift certificate. Thanks Target on Brown Rd! This is not a bad review for Target as a whole, the store on Telegraph in Bloomfield has always treated me with respect and great customer service, but that store in Auburn hills is ran like a gang with gang like mentality with group think, and I am almost certain it is because of the incompetent management at...
Read moreLong lines during check out's, it would be nice if this Target store would have self check out's which would cut down on long lines. Remodel bath rooms would be nice and it's pass due. Also it would be nice if Target cop gave guesses 10% off in store & online vs only 5% off. Needless to say Target has a long ways to go or it would not be shocking if they would be next to go out of business for failing to keep up with times and demand too. I mean most of the time I go to this Target store in Auburn Hills Michigan they are out of products and products are not even in store, most items are off there shelves and there shelves are like walking by a ghost town with nothing on most of the shelves in this store such as the hand soap part of this store as just one part of the store where items are clearly not in stock or are missing. This is a sign where either the demand is a lot higher then the store can keep up with or this store just doesn't care to keep products in stock, I'm not sure which. But I've been going to this store for years and they never been able to keep products in stock or they simply do not care, not to forget to mention most of the time they don't have enough people working because of long check out times, having to wait more then 20 minutes is really crazy. I've mentioned before to someone at this store they should add self check out lanes but they are scared to because they fear it would take away from workers getting hours lol.. if they can't give there workers hours and get schedule correct then this would tell anyone someone not doing there job right. I myself used to work for Target and while I did like my job at the store I was at, I could think of countless of ideas to improve things and make things run better. Hmm it's easier to give feedback from both inside and outside as in both a guess and employee. It's just sad though that Target doesn't treat there employees fair and right or else they wouldn't have to hire so much, not to mention they could keep up with times that are...
Read moreWhile I'm happy with the selection of merchandise. I'm not happy with the customer service. Seems they have a revolving door there lately and when you return something that you buy with the Target Red debit Card, they will not give you a cash refund the way they should. After all, it's a "debit card " and should be accepted as a debit card. They used to give you cash back until recently. They make a big deal about it which is crazy. One of the managers told me if she were to Authorize a cash refund that she could lose her job! I like getting the 5%cash back when I use my red card. However at this point, it's not hardly worth it. I shop there quite often because of the location. I've been considering shopping at a different location or perhaps just stop shopping there altogether. The regular employees are nice but in my personal opinion, instead of them letting go of the hard working employees, they should let go the management team and replace them with more qualified and friendlier ones. After all if the customer isn't happy, they might as well close up shop. Just an FYI. Targets headquarters doesn't seem to care either. I've called and complained and didn't see anything done on their behalf either. They should attempt to give better service because after all isn't that their job? I usually don't carry on like this but I feel that if I use my debit then when I return something I shouldn't have to wait 3 or 4 days for a refund...
