1/07/2024. Disappointed to have to write such a negative review but I feel that honest feedback helps others make informed decisions. I wanted to try this nail place based on all the great reviews I read and awesome pictures I saw. I’m not sure if those were fake or what but I had the worst experience of my life here. I walked in, was barely greeted (lady was on her phone ignoring me), I showed her a reference photo of what I was looking to get on both my nails and toenails. It was literally just pink nails with chrome on top. She told me to pick a color and go in the back. Problem #1, I didn’t want to find the color from the photo myself, I wanted the nail tech to color match the photo for me since they are the “professionals”. They had me looking through 3 different books with colors to find which one it was. It was ridiculous, like, a little help please? Problem #2, the older gentleman doing my no chip pedicure did a terrible job. I hated it. It looked like a 7 year old did it. It was so sloppy I honestly could have done better myself. He applied the chrome with his fingers…I’ve gotten chrome many many times and never has any nail tech applied it with their fingers. I finally spoke up and said it didn’t like it and he re did my pedicure with just plain white polish. He did better the second time around, but still sloppy. Nail polish left on my skin, loose skin and hangnails still on my feet. Was not impressed but whatever, finally time for my manicure. Problem #3, I sit down and wait for 10 min for someone to start my nails. A woman sits down in front of me but then all of a sudden a male tech starts yelling at the female nail tech from across the salon. The man and woman techs yell and I mean yell at each other about something in another language for a good 10 min, no exaggeration. The woman was so worked up her hands were shaking as she was filing my nails. Everyone in the salon was dead silent just listening to them argue. It was the most uncomfortable situation I’ve ever been in. The man walked up to our table several times and was yelling at this woman literally inches away from me. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! So eventually the argument ends and I get my manicure. I had to remind her several times of the shape I wanted my nails to be. After everything I was not impressed at all with my manicure. It looked sloppy, there was bumps, places with no polish, crooked nails. I didn’t say anything because I had just had enough of this place I needed to get the hell out of there. Please do no waste your money here. Go to Jazza Nails in Warrenville, they are phenomenal. Only reason I didn’t go there was because they were closed on the day I decided to get my nails done and I was leaving the next day for...

The Story: received reference from a friend for a particular nail tech (why, by the way, was EXCELLENT! I mean, for those who search near & far for detailed nail design at its perfection, this young lady is at the top of her game!) The end...of the good stuff.

Now the bad. My friend called beforehand to get pricing, and the price quoted and what I paid afterward differed greatly.

TIM did my mother's full set with a French manicure, and her nails looked like a brick overlay!!! I distinctly asked the front desk gentleman if TIM was as good as my friends nail tech, and he emphatically told me yes! LIES!!! Even though my mother asked for a specific color before and was confirmed, she didn't get it in the end, and wasn't told until afterward that they didn't have the color.

Not only do my mom's nails look like brick, but they were different shapes and ragged. Yes, I did notify the tech, who tried to correct it, but TOO LATE, damage done. Then they had the nerve to attempt to add an extra charge for shape, as if you have an option and shouldn't filing and shaping your nails be a part of a full set? Not special shape, just your regular nails. I guess they were going to charge extra for involuntary making my mom's nails different shapes to cover up TIM'S disaster!!!

Moving on to my mani/pedi...not only was JACK extremely rude and unfriendly when I was showing him some details he neglected doing my pedicure, I had to reshape and cut some of my toe and fingernails because they were not smooth. See the picture of my disappointing manicure.

On another note, after I saw the staff offer a client water, I asked why wasn't I asked, they bring me a bottle of water as I'm putting on my coat. The final straw was the bill, but there's no prices posted, so now I can't dispute the price I was told versus what I'm being charged. Not that they were the slightest bit interested in my dissatisfaction or complaint. And guess what... I still tipped for services rendered, but I woefully regret the experience, and every dollar paid!

Mina or Min Tran seems nice! But she’s very money hungry! I came to get a pedi after being in the hospital for a long time. I wanted to enjoy a much needed self care day. From the time I walked in Mina kept trying to upsell me! She asked me to get no-chip 3 different times! Before even starting the service. I chose the basic pedi… she told me I need to do a higher service. Then started pointing out the problems on my feet!. I told her I’ll take care of it when I get home.. I just wanted the basic pedi. She got a lil upset and she started to make me feel embarrassed! Other people started to look at my feet. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. While she was doing the service.. she kept trying to get me to change my mind. She literally kept asking to add things on after I kept telling her no!. Finally she talked me into get my eyebrows done. She kept telling me my eyebrow was wild.. and I’ll look more prettier. I was literally going to my eyebrow lady after the pedi. But I figured I’ll save a trip and get them done by her😭! That was a very bad idea!!! My bday is this Wednesday and Mina/Min Trans mad my eyebrows very uneven!!! She tried to fix them.. but she kept making it worse! And kept saying.. I made u pretty. Tip me well! Tip me well! Once she was done.. she rushed over to cash me out.. saying cash it better! I literally transferred over money from my bank acct to my cashapp card. I paid.. she waited for me to write how much tip I was giving her. Then asked me to scratch it off and if I had zelle.. if I could Zelle her instead. Then she was upset bc I zelled her $2 less then what I wrote down. She wanted to go back and forth with me. I explained I transferred the money over to a different acct. but she requested Zelle.. so that’s what I had to Zelle her. She then asked me to write $2 next to where she had me scratch the original tip! Long story short.. I didn’t enjoy myself care day. I honestly feel like I paid to be embarrassed and bullied. I’ll never be coming back! And I’ll make sure to tell everyone! Yes there open on Sundays… but terrible customer service! And they’re just money hungry! And DON’T ever get your eyebrows done there!!!! They made it a big point to like them on Facebook and to leave a review! I unlike/unfollowed as soon as I sat down to get my service.. bc I already knew! Yall was on games! And here’s the review yall...
