I went thru the drive-thru and ordered a cashew sundae. They were actually not taking orders through the intercom but had 2 people taking orders outside. There were 2 long lines of parked cars waiting on orders. I waited about 10-15 minutes. (Not too bad) However, there was a young man I saw carrying a sundae in one hand and a bag in the other. The sundae he had tilted to the side. So, I saw a cherry fall out, and I imagined the other toppings were on their way to doing the same. I told my daughter who was with me that it would be funny if that was my sundae. Sure enough, IT WAS! After taking the bag of food to the correct car, the young man turned around and headed my way. While walking, he turned his head raised his elbow up to cover his mouth while he sneezed. Came to my door and asked if I had the turtle sundae. I told him yes, the cashew sundae, and he proceeded to hand me the sundae. By this time, the whipped cream was hanging over the side of the cup. (Which I wasn't surprised since he had the cup tilted) I asked if he could have it remade for me because it looked like it was melting not to mention he had it tilted and a cherry had already fell out it didn't look appealing. He told me it only took him a couple of seconds to give the other car their order. He said if the problem was the cherry, he would go and get me another cherry. He said he didn't know what the problem was. I told him to just refund my order. He then agreed he would remake it, and I said no. I told him no thanks, but I just wanted a refund. He walked away from the car, and I heard him yell to someone that I wanted a refund. So, I waited a little longer and a manger came to my car and handed me the money. I told the manager that I was most disappointed in the attitude of the employee. I was not going to argue with him or anyone else for that matter over something that I paid for. He was wrong. I was respectful to the manager as I was with him also. I told the manager that maybe the young man should have just brought my sundae first, especially with it being ice cream. Read more(Update) After having been promised someone would call, "the next day" - nothing. Days later. Nothing. I re-calculated the final cost, and it is what the person on the phone said I should have paid - 23.82 - is this location skimming each transaction?
Can someone please explain the discrepancy? Thank you. Not a trite response but an actual explanation regarding the receipt.
(Original Post) I gave this a one star b/c I used coupons, which do not add up, and the person who called me told me I was wrong, had an attitude, and told me she said she is telling me what the computer says. We both agree my sub-total is the same as what my receipt says.. and then after going on and on I tell her what she says is the final price paid on her end is lower than what my receipt says on my end. Then she tells me she doesn't know how the computer (algorithm) creates the final price and that I need to talk to head quarters. I ask for the number and she says she doesn't have it off the top of her head and I should google it.
I have been going to this location for years, with the coupons, and if they can't tell me why their end is lower than my receipt, I have a bad feeling I have been skimmed for years and years and years.

Not even considering the long wait and the confusion of my order didn't match the number given to me, because things happen, I was treated rudely. I not only didn't get double I didn't get the right dressing. I went through the drive thru originally so I parked my car and went inside to get the right one. I can understand if you accidentally throw the wrong dressing in especially when it's busy but I was approached with attitude and the woman who bagged my order told me there was no ses ging. So she ignorantly placed the wrong dressing in there without saying one word to me in hopes that what? I wouldn't notice till I got home? That is something that should be told to the costumer before they even pay. I wasn't even given a fat free dressing to replace it. And what if I had dietary restrictions or was allergic to the one she gave? I can't forgive the way the situation was handled and will not be a returning customer to the Aurora Culver's.
