Esty Skin Studio — Local services in Austin

I’ve received two custom facials by Ella at Esty, the 2nd in preparation for my wedding a few weeks ago. I am very happy with the services I have received, and I love going to this beautiful, historic building in my neighborhood (rather than a sterile strip mall) for my skin needs.

Ella is lovely and conversational, but I’ve never felt like I couldn’t relax or choose quiet while she’s working with me. She takes care to make sure I’m comfortable, and answers my skin questions without making me feel like I need to buy a bunch of product or additional services to get the results I’m looking for. Unlike many other skin studios I’ve been to, Ella has never pushed me toward buying product on the way out, either. When I have asked for suggestions she has pointed me toward the lines Esty carries (of course) and I’ve been very happy with the products I’ve tried.

Went here for my first ever facial! It’s too soon to tell the results, but the experience was amazing. The studio is clean and cozy, great atmosphere, private, and relaxing. Emily took the time to really understand my skin and what my skin care routine looks like at home. She provided explanation during the process to help me understand my skin better and how to take better care of it. She was gentle and skilled. I went with the 30 min facial with extractions for $55. Best price in Austin! At the end Emily gave me product recommendations, but they weren’t even products they sell at the spa so she was truly recommending what she thought would be best for my skin! Wonderful Experience! I love going to small businesses where the owner is actually the one providing the service. I should know, because that's how I roll at my office. The space was very calming and had ample parking. I was actually 15 mins late, and she didn't have time to finish the service, though, she knocked off 15 mins off the fee. So she gave me a discount, for my lateness! That level of customer service is unheard of.
