This was my first time going to this store. I made an appointment the day before for a smooth transition for a tux fitting…Upon walking In The store nobody greeted us, there was nobody in the front of the store to help. I walked to the back by the fitting rooms and advised a worker I have a 5Pm appointment he advised to give him a moment to finish up with a customer. Meanwhile waiting and looking around we were approached by a rude arrogant white old man who also worked there asked us what we needed, I advised a tux in black, his demeanor was very dismissive he didn’t pay attention or listen to what we needed; he didn’t even offer to measure him for his suit size….we asked questions and was ignored very condescending and unprofessional and we left the store. The young man that stated he will be right with me, never arrived to assist with my 5Pm appointment. In regards to the white old man with an accent he shouldn’t work there if you have no intent on being welcoming and helpful to customers and not only customers but we also witnessed him being madd rude to another employee of color my spouse is of color and we felt everything but welcomed here. This store is located in Miami, Aventura area; What a joke, for a store that sells pricey men suits it is short staffed and lacks professionalism. We went elsewhere and spent out money, where we felt comfortable and appreciated as customers. I usually do not write reviews but I feel like I should save everyone sometime and ignorance. Do not spend your hard earned money here. No good vibes. The old man shouldn’t be working there in no capacity. He lacks professionalism and he is deterrent to people of color specifically, we did not feel welcomed or comfortable. I looked up this store reviews and saw others agree with my notation of this store, I don’t understand how the white old man with an accent is still employed there…which also shows the company ignorance and lack to acknowledge and accommodate customers of color. The fact that nothing is being done on the company side about this matter...
Read moreI registered online for tuxedo rental for my wedding. Their web site offered a $40 discount for each rental and the groom rental free – if I registered. When I went into the store they told me I needed a coupon to receive this price. Went home, found a coupon and brought it into the store, but they would not honor it because the coupon had expired. The sales person winked and told me don’t worry about it, they would get me same price. A few days later I returned with my fiancée to select the style. After we were done, the total price was approximately $150 (should be approx. $110 after discount). When I mentioned the $40 discount per rental, they again told me they could not honor that promotion. Only after a heated discussion, did a management person agree to include a “special” discount that would amount to $40 off. Fast forward a few weeks, I go in with my future brother-in-law to get fitted for the first tuxedo. After being fitted, we wanted to pay the rental in full – the total was over $200!!! Again, “Sorry, but we don’t have any record of a $40 discount.” After another heated discussion with the store manager – who had raised his voice and was extremely rude – he agreed to give us a discount if we joined some “customer reward club.” But even with this discount the price of the tux was still near $170. We walked away and I’m getting my tuxedos elsewhere for less money, and much less aggravation.
I used to shop Men’s Warehouse quite regularly when I was younger. I no longer wear a suit on a daily basis, so I have not been into MW in a couple years. But this place has really gone downhill. One thing me and my fiancée noticed on each visit was how rudely management treated their employees. On one occasion, we actually felt embarrassed...
Read moreMy husband and I went to this store because somebody recommend it to rent a tuxedo for a wedding, the first time everything was wonderful, the guy who was attended told us that they rented regular size suits since they arranged them as slim fit, when we went to Pick the suit up 3 days before the wedding (and my husband was the bride's father) it was a disaster, the suit was dirty, the jacket was too big, the shirt was like 4 more sizes, but the worst was the receptivity of what I suppose is the store manager named Kaicy, I think, she got annoyed much more than us (and we had every right to be upset about the disaster), they ignored everything they told us before to rent, the girl was so rude that she told me that my husband's claim to wear slim fit was as if she intended to wear a size 0 dress, Kaicy or whatever your name is, I’m gonna explain to you, because I hope your bosses will show you this message, is not to wear a small tuxedo, it seems that you are in it, is that you have to learn to respect the wishes of each client, if the people from the store did not teach you in your training. It was the worst experience that I have lived as a client, I worked 15 years training personnel to Costumer Service and one of the most important things is giving an excellent attitude in presale and aftersales, I will definitely never think about this store again. After leaving the store, We got a perfect new slim fit Calvin Klein tuxedo, with shoes and shirt at Macy's for the same price we were going to pay at men’s Wearhouse. they were also upset because I asked for my full refund since it was not what we asked for,...
