I LOVED this place. Diana is so very sweet and charming and we had great conversations with her. The store is packed with treasures and amazing jewelry. As a young 20-something I tend to not be taken seriously when shopping for fine jewelry, but Diana was so accomodating and patient as I asked to try on probably a dozen things from the store. She has great taste in antique jewelry and, most importantly, prices are fair which is surprising in the center of bar harbor! What a great place! Came upon it by chance (it's down an alley) while visiting Bar Harbor. Small but chock full of beautiful things; every inch of space is used to display all of the wonderful things for sale. Turns out the owner is one of the largest Maxfield Parrish dealers in the country. After waiting 40 years to buy some of his work because I was afraid of buying a fake, I bought three prints. Stopped by this hidden gem of a store during my trip to Bar Harbor. Beautiful selection of antique items (jewelry, china and much more) in amazing condition.
