Cool As A Moose — Local services in Bar Harbor

Love going in this shop in the summertime even if it is a little more busy but wow their winter time staff I would assume (local) is beyond strange. I went in to look around and do a little shopping for a friend and wow. I thought it was odd when I first walked in and I was the only person with 2 employees in there.....not even a friendly remark or welcome....just awkward quietness. I looked around and some odd dude eventually asked if I needed help with anything. I kindly responded "no thank you just looking around." After that it was glued eyes as if I was a risk to steal something 😂. I felt that the second I walked in. I'm assuming their local employees don't get much for winter time visitors. You know when someone is staring down your back, you can feel it.....and sure enough every time I would look up there was mr. creeper staring me down every single time and not in a friendly way. In a very curious strange way.....I hope it wasn't for another reason but one would assume it was for distrusting me in his shop. Keep in mind I am a very clean cut person so I don't know what you think I was gonna steal man but for your awkward interaction you are getting 1 star for your winter...

This place was fun to visit and browse! There are quite a few things to look at as well, which made it fun for me! I personally thought their clothing selection stood out the most from other places. I don’t typically buy clothing on vacations, but I recently finished visiting all fifty states and Maine was the last one ❤️ To commemorate this, I wanted to buy some souvenirs from the area. I found a beautiful Acadia National Park shirt that had a nice look and feel to it. I can’t wait to wear it! I also picked out another sporty one with soft material. There were so many good choices that I definitely had a hard time choosing. The staff was very friendly and the store was well organized. I absolutely loved their selection of stickers as well. They were all very unique. I selected several to put in some journals of mine at home. There were other souvenirs to pick from as well, such as items for kids. I would recommend this place because it is easy to find and in the downtown area of Bar Harbor. If you are looking for a place with a wide selection of souvenirs, this is the place to go to! Cool as a mouse is really cool. It’s the one store I need to visit every time I go to Bar Harbor the clothing really last a long time and it’s great quality unlike the other shops in the area. There are two floors of products in the basement. they have some sales They accept credit card and cash. I don’t believe there’s a bathroom on site and I wouldn’t say it’s handicap accessible I did not see an elevator that goes down to the basement only stairs I looked around. The staff is super friendly and offered us a coupon for the next time we purchase something They have all sizes for kids and adults. The biggest size I saw was two XL.
