This place deserves five stars . It has a great atmosphere. The staff was fantastic. Their food was absolutely amazing. We stared with the mussels. They were the best darn mussels that we have ever had . We tried the lobster roll. The lobster meat was sweet and had good portions. Then we had their Maine blueberry pie with ice cream . It was very delicious. It was the best pie I've ever had . This restaurant had a wide variety on their menu . They have mixed drinks and coffee and tea . Michael was our server. He was very attentive and our food arrived promptly. The mussels were the star of the meal . We went next door to the gift shop . Chaddy and Suzie were just wonderful. They were friendly and treated us kindly. Captain Boo Boo was the greeter when we went in . The gift shop had many items that were nautical. The jewelry was very pretty and quite chic . It wasn’t a good experience for us. I was really excited to try the lobster pizza after reading the reviews, but it was so disappointing we couldn’t eat it. Instead of featuring the lobster, the pizza came with only a few small pieces, buried under a lot of jalapeños and arugula, and it wasn’t even cut into slices. We sent it back and ordered the haddock and a burger instead. Unfortunately, those weren’t much better. The haddock was bland, dry, and had a chemical, freezer-burn taste. The burger was also dry and flavorless, and even the sauce served with it didn’t help. For spending over $100 (without drinks), we expected much more. Great recommendation from a friend. Glad we made a reservation for our group of eight. The blueberry margarita was one of the best I had in this trip. Full of flavor and blueberries. I had the mini lobster roll with a cup of clam chowder and a blueberry tart. All were delicious. The soup was especially thick, full of clams, not just huge chunks of potato. The lobster was cooked perfect and the bread was good. The tart was tasty. Several of our party had the shrimp & scallops pasta. It was very good.
