T.J. Maxx — Local services in Bath Township

If I could give zero stars, I would. Absolute worst customer experience I've ever had from the hiring manager. I was scheduled to have an interview, and told her I needed to reschedule due to unexpected car troubles from my significant other. He had to work and needed to take my car and we live together. Any other employer I've met would've gladly rescheduled like a normal person. She was very rude to me about it and then brought up irrelevant things like, "how will I know if you'll even show up for work?" One, you don't even know me, so do NOT judge me before you even get to interview me. Second, I had no control over this situation, so do not blame me for that. Never have I ever met an arrogant hiring manager like the one at this store. Will no longer be shopping at this location. What a waste of my time and patience. I will gladly look elsewhere since I wouldn't want to work around someone who carries this nasty kind of attitude and thinks she's higher than everyone else apparently...

I had a most exceptional time shopping at TJMAXX recently. I had found a beautiful sweater I wanted to buy but it had a button missing! So when I got up to the register I had told my cashier that the button had fallen off but it was in the pocket of the sweater so I was going to take it home and figure out how to put it back on (I don’t sew btw). She asked if I would like to ask the manager for a discount on it and I said sure why not. So this wonderful angel named Debbie came over and as crazy as it sounds offered to sew my button back on for me! I thought she was kidding at first, but nope! She told me to bring the sweater back the next day and she would sew it back on for me and that’s just what happened! 99% of this store is great. Have only had a few issues and it has been with the same person each time. On 3 different occasions I dealt with the older african American women who works behind the jewelry counter. On 3 occasions she has been very rude to either me or my wife. We are fed up with her impatient attitude and overall rudeness. She works in sales yet she makes us leave each time without a purchase when that is the sole reason we come to the store. Based on my experience I will probably avoid this store from here on out unless there is somethimg specific I need. I will absolutely never shop at the jewelry dept. Again if she is working or not.
