I wish I could post something good here, but unfortunately that’s not the case. My fiancé and I decided to go to this location last Wednesday for our four year anniversary. The service we got was extremely mediocre. We both ordered drinks from the bar, and two “create your own ultimate feast” meals. I ordered the lobster alfredo with mine and my fiancé ordered lobster macaroni and cheese. Our server took our menus and said she’d be right back with our drinks, but took 20 minutes to come back with them (just wine and a draft beer, nothing too crazy). And we didn’t get our biscuits until our food came out, which brings me to the worst part, instead of getting lobster mac and cheese, she brought my fiancé lobster alfredo. She said “oh I’m so sorry I forgot to tell you, we’re out of the mac and cheese, so I just brought you this. Are you mad?” He said it was fine, he didn’t feel like getting worked up about it, so she said she’d check back in a few minutes and if he didn’t like it she’d bring him something else. She leaves our table and doesn’t return for a half hour! By that point we had eaten everything else (except my scallops, which were over cooked and dry, but again didn’t get a chance to tell her because she was MIA for 30 minutes.) and just wanted to leave, so we asked her to take it off the bill. She took $10 off our total and told us she’s sorry for the inconvenience, and then said “I’m just not thinking right today, I was expecting it to be busier so I’m not with it yet.” I can only imagine it would’ve been worse if you were busy. She had maybe two other tables at the time, it’s unacceptable that she not only didn’t tell us the lobster mac was out for the night as soon as she found out, but then didn’t give him a chance to return it because she disappeared for a half hour after giving us the food. I wrote a complaint on your website that night and have yet to hear anything back, so that’s why I’m writing this review now. Our four year anniversary was something we were really looking forward to celebrating and I just feel like we deserved more from your company. We don’t get to enjoy Red Lobster too often on our budget and when we do get to go we expect to get...
Read moreHonestly I just left this location and I’m really disappointed with the experience that my family and I had. After a long day of traveling we decided to stop here for dinner and the entire time felt like we were being rushed out. The experience started okay, but it escalated quickly. Boxes were at the table before we were even halfway done with the meals, she was telling us about the check while we were in the middle of eating, she cleared cups and plates that we were still using without asking, and we were ignored for a solid seven minutes while trying to find her so we could put desert in. We even ended up putting our desert in to go because we felt like such an inconvenience to our server while we trying to enjoy a night out together after spending all day in the car.
Our server, Jasmine, was training and the most of the time left the trainee by herself. Ironically, the trainee did amazing compared to how Jasmine treated us. I forget her name, but she is going to be a great server, that is, if she has the right people teaching her the job. The trainee is the only reason I considered giving two stars.
I understand they closed in an hour and a half and she wanted to end her shift, but if you’re not doing your job correctly why are you even there!!! As someone who has worked in food service I understand, but as a customer this was unacceptable. We should’ve been placed with another server if she was in such a hurry to leave and not do her job.
The restaurant looked dirty, even the lobster tanks out front were cloudy and gray. The service from our primary server was terrible and the food was mediocre, which is not what you expect from this restaurant chain- especially because of the cost of what you’re getting. My daughter’s steak was cut into before it got to the table and it looked terrible, our Brussels sprouts were underdone, and so much more.
We’re not local, but this was extremely disappointing after spending nearly $200 for my family to eat at what is usually a nice restaurant. I know these reviews probably don’t mean much to the restaurant owner or manager, but guests should get what they pay for and this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I...
Read moreMy husband and I go to Red Lobster once a year for our anniversary since it is during shrimp fest and this has been our ritual for the last 10-12yrs. This will most likely be our last time going because this last experience was horrible. For starters, we got there around noon and had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated, the place had more help running around then the amount of customers seated. The mens restroom was closed and blocked off, so men had to use the womens restroom in between women going or men being in there. We finally sat down and gave the waitress our order (only the menu did not have the shrimp fest flavors listed, I had to look online for flavors), we asked our waitress what types of salad they had and she gives us 2 options. I forgot until after I had to look at the online shrimp flavors there was also a Tomato-Mozzarella Caprese. Upon asking her about it she said that some people order it as a salad choice...if this were the case why did she not give us this choice when we asked her of the salad choices...we got our food, she asked us what flavors of shrimp we wanted next and put those orders in. After the first couple of refill orders she kept disappearing, our plates sat empty and she would finally come back around to get another order only she would be gone again. You only get like 5 pieces of shrimp each time. This went on until 2pm and we finally gave up, the place was never busy until we got ready to leave when a bus full of senior citizens came in. We left feeling like we never really ate since it took so long at times to get our food, sadly we ended up getting sick from the food. Never again. Next year we plan to try Outback...
