Look carefully when they're scanning your items / or check the receipt. I stopped in a couple days ago and noticed that they overcharged me for electrolyte powdered drink packages. I realized the cashier was charging me the same price for 3 different brands - clearly in different size, shape, color packages. Of course it was the highest price (see photo). I think she was just trying to save time and didn't care. There was no one in line behind me, so there was no rush. When I asked them to correct the charges, someone else came up and took me to a different register to manage the refund. ***But no one apologized and there didn't seem to be any concern whatsoever that she had taken the shortcut to ring up the products.*** Really alarming that no one cared that this happened.

Very clean store in a trendy spot. The prices are too high for what it's worth. I get the supporting local and no pesticides, but 3$ for a head of lettuce is insulting. However, if you have the money then spend it there. Upstairs is a great cafe/bar. Such a great spot. Have a great bloody Mary while snacking on THEE BEST crispy buffalo cauliflower bites. The absolute best. So delicious. I personally would add some chopped green onions for some bite, but so good. Also go on the weekend evenings. Matthew the bartender is cute and great. :) tell him Tom and Carrie say hi!

I loved the market! Somethings were pricey, but after all, most healthfood places are! They offer not only meats, seafood, bakery, fresh produce and other groceries but so much more-from vitamins to cosmetics, facial creams, sunscreen, bulk items, pet food, plants, soaps, henna tattoos, sunglasses, wine area, candles, jewelry, and so much more! I enjoyed just looking at all the different products they carry!! I spent a lot of time in the market just looking at all the different stuff! I actually did buy somethings😅

My husband and I arrived there at 6:00 pm on Sunday. It wasn't very crowded at all. The atmosphere is nice; tall ceilings, spacious, and plenty of room between the tables for a private conversation. The decor is also interesting, if you pay attention. The woman who took our order did not smile or seem to be enjoying her job at all and was obviously irritated by our presence. Then she forgot my ice tea. In addition, I found it offensive that the receipt had a place to add a tip, before the food was even cooked. I have always considered a tip to be a "thank you" for kind and courteous service as opposed to a prerequisite. Our server was just as unsmiling and unprofessional as the cashier. She seemed shocked that we didn't know we were supposed to get our drink from the cashier before we sat down. She was even more inconvenienced when my husband asked for water. She scoffed and pointed to the "self service" water bar. My husband, who was on crutches with a broken foot apologized for his ignorance and waited while his wife got his water. This was turning into a great night out. I love waiting on my kids and my husband so much that I just can't wait to wait on them at the restaurant, too! I ordered the avocado BLT with fries. The bacon was overcooked and the fries had that telltale taste that says it might be time to change the oil. It should be done every 3,000 miles, or so I hear. My husband got a plain old-fashioned burger, overcooked (burnt) as well. The cole slaw was just big slices of cabbage with a little dressing on it. Not necessarily a crime, just not to his liking. Overall, not great. We will not be back. Kudos to the busboy who served our food professionally and with genuine interest. While I am glad I did not leave a tip, if I had it would have been given to him. He gave us hope for...

This place earns way more than 5 stars.

Cafe: I don't like to eat on an empty stomach. We started with the quinoa nachos and vegan nacho cheese. Awesome, no scallions, and the pepper didn't bother me. I also got a serving to take home, and enjoyed that the next day, as well. I went with the Brie & 3 Cheese something. Holy fricking cow. The bread was ever so gently toasted to be crisped, but not burnt at all. The three cheese (vegan) was fantastic. Whatever the substance was (tempeh?) was solid, but not too firm, and had an excellent taste. The sandwich was perfection, and had an interesting taste with the syrup. The coleslaw was awful. I hate peppers, the taste tosses my stomach. The waitress offered me something else, even to go since I was stuffed, but no issue. She never let our drinks go under half, was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, very accommodating. Fantastic. All of the food was excellent. My friend has salmon, which she really enjoyed, the other had the Gard-in Chick-in sandwich, was pretty good- but plain, as they wanted it.

We shopped, then came back for dessert... We each got one, and shared. Unfortunately I made the best choice...the chocolate cake. The mousse was good, but I'm not a mousse person. The cheesecake was also good, but not as good as the chocolate cake.

The market...

Has just about everything vegan and natural you could want, the first place I have even found with Amaranth. Try the vegan double chocolate cookies...seriously, the...

I've gone here twice recently, and both times, the food was great! However, the service is a hit or miss. the first time, I took my little one to lunch and our waitress was great, service was quick. We went back to have dinner on a Friday night with a friend and her little one, and it was quite busy since there was live music. The food was still great, but they forgot to send a waiter over, so after 25 minutes of waiting, I had to go ask for a wait person because they had forgotten about us. Once he showed up and took our order, I asked him if he could bring my little one's drink and some crayons first, but another 25 minutes later I had to go up to the bar and ask for a kid's apple juice and some crayons, because my son was playing with water drops on the table and asking for a drink repeatedly. I know waitstaff have off nights, we're all human, but our waiter honestly looked like he was repulsed to be serving us, which is unusual because he never came to see how our dinner was, so we barely interacted with him. He brought out to-go boxes for us and that was that. My first experience was during lunch so it was not as busy, I understand, but our waitress packed up our food and was so accommodating. This night, we had two little ones, helping box our leftovers would have been helpful, as other wait staff was...
