If I were leaving two separate reviews, it would be 3 stars for the pedicure and 1 star for the nails. I had the afternoon off so I went in early before it got busy with the after work folks. I requested a set of dip nails and as always, I explain to the technician that I have allergies so dip is my ONLY option for nails. He nods OK. I choose my color and they put me in a pedicure chair. OK, first of all, maybe it's just me but I HATE having my nails and toes done at the same time. A pedi is my relaxation time and when my arms are being yanked off to the side it's not comfortable or relaxing. They weren't busy and I wasn't in a rush so there was no reason for it. That's my fault for not arguing about it. But since I was in the massage chair, the vibration was giving the nail guy problems so he had to turn it off. OK, no more relax for me. :-/ Nail dude proceeds to use a nail tip to shove under my existing dip set to rip it loose. Never seen that before but when he was done I realized how many layers of my natural nails were destroyed by that process. I doubt that his method was an industry standard and they still charged me for removal which I assume is normally the soak off. Anyway, he proceeds with my new set and I can tell he's struggling. Another lady keeps coming by and pointing at stuff for him to correct. I may have been his first time applying dip. It was a mess when it was done, very uneven with obvious dips and really poor shaping that really showed up in the sun when I left. Pedicure was going fine. There was nothing that really upset me and nothing that wowed me. It was expensive but not very relaxing because of the nail dudes issues. She did all the normal stuff and then proceeded to paint my nails. After the first coat of polish I start looking and realize that my fingers and toes are a different color. I picked a pink pink and my fingers are like a purple-pink. I point it out to the toe lady and she was "uh oh!" So we check the colors and she has the right color. So now my options are get the wrong color on my toes or have him redo my nails. I opted for the wrong color. Whatever. I didn't hate the color. So what really motivated me to write the review is that about 3 days later, after staring at my nails and hating all the dips and unevenness, they started chipping. My dip nails typically last 3-5 weeks until they grow out and need to be redone. The clear on my toe nails went "off" and was no longer shiny. So I just wasted $120 and my fingers and toes look awful. When a business does a bad job like this, you don't even want to go back and let them redo it. I contemplated going back but I just don't want them to touch my nails again. It's really a shame because this place looks so nice but now I understand why it's...
Read moreAVOID!! (Rip off) (rude & lazy) yes I know the pictures they advertise are pretty & I thought they were too but my experience WAS TERRIBLE! When you first walk in nobody greats you, stood there for a few minutes before a younger boy asked me what I was wanting done, I said “full set & toes” he acted like he understood then 2 minutes later a different lady walked up to me and asked me the same thing & I said, “full set & pedicure “ she said OK and once I picked my color, they walked me over to the chair, the first guy started washing my feet and did not ask me what color I wanted on my toes so in the middle of him washing, I told him that I wanted whites shellac and two fake tips on my big toes.. once again he acted like he understood what I was asking and then had another guy come in and do the fake toenails but instead of just doing the press on tips, he decided to do the powder tips the acrylic on my toenails. As I was getting my toes done by the second guy, I paused and looked at my toes and realize that they looked awful and I was being polite, and I simply showed him a picture of the goal picture of what I was trying to get my toenails to look like, he looked up at me, rolled his eyes and very rudely responded. “Yeah, I know.” So as he finishes shaping the acrylic on my toes, and the first guy returns and starts painting my toenails. I noticed that underneath my toenails was poorly done and blocky. I stopped him and asked him if he could please correct underneath my toenails, so the second guy comes back and fixes underneath my toenails and is very rude about it, and I noticed he was laughing, and I couldn’t understand what he was saying in his language, but he was clearly laughing at me and making a big deal about having to correct my toes, long story short I ended up having to get another lady named Sally, who is very sweet and kind enough to fix my toenails by completely removing them, and having to redo them all over again. Basically to summarize everything I came in there at two and I wasn’t done until 4 PM and I didn’t get any designs on my nails. All I got was a basic color & long tips. When I’m finally finished, I walk up to the register to pay and my original total was 125 then the guy who did my toenails comes up out of nowhere and gives them a receipt and all of a sudden my total skyrocketed from 125 to 193 !!!! I then argued about why it was priced that way, and it almost seems like they didn’t have a definitive answer as to why, even with all the complications and one of their employees being extremely disrespectful to me they still did not discount my toenails!! If you’re trying to find a good place to get your nails done, keep looking because this is not the place will not ever be...
Read moreWhat a disappointment! This nail salon is so beautiful inside, yet the Nail technicians lack customer service. I was going to Sony and Tammy for awhile. I would choose acrylic color powder and never had a issue. Sony kept telling me to go with the Clear acrylic with Shellac. He continued to promise how much better it is, and how it was worth the extra money spent. Finally I went with his suggestion and within the first week I instantly regretted it! After 4days one Nail cracks; he was able to fix for free. The first two times I went for a new set he was in a good mood an seemed so professional. He even told me if the Nail was to ever break, to come back an he wouldn't have a issue fixing it for me. So when I did come back for my Nail cracking, he seemed bothered I even showed up. The 2nd week two other nails cracked, and I was not able to fix it for free. I paid extra for his suggestion, just to waste my money. When I asked Tammy and Sony how much certain services would cost me, They started to give me attitude! Even with the waste of money for my last set of nails, I was willing to look past that an just go back to my Color powder acrylic set. I tried to set a appointment twice and each time they said they were to busy for me. Then finally told me I should go find someone better then them who can meet my demands! I literally get the most basic set of nails and never give them a hard time. I'm always respectful and understanding! I never gave attitude even while waiting for Sony to take a smoke break while I waited past my appointment time. And was patient when Tammy gave me attitude for her not understanding that I just wanted to pick a Acrylic Color powder color before seeing Sony. But the moment I told them what he suggested wasn't good and I asked for pricing information, they choose to get upset and told me to go else where. Last time I checked, that's Not how you run a buisness! I will not be returning here. Also Tammy Never gets all the dead skin off the feet. I found a great place that has a new Management. Citrine Nail Bar is run by two amazing women who have 1000% customer service and skills! Becky has made my feet extremely smooth and soft! Moon does an outstanding job on my nails! And they are so much better on pricing then Fashio Nails. Definitely glad Sony an Tammy told me to go elsewhere. Because I Did...
