MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Baytown

Oh. My. Word. Me and my siblings went to redeem our free no name cakes, and we were there for 20-30 minutes, for three already made packaged cakes that were the same size as the lil Debbie cakes. One lady was in front of us ordering, and the pizza lady was moving so slow. She was attempting to make 3 pizzas. She dipped a itty bit of sauce on the pizza, then SLOWLY spread it. It took maybe 5 minutes to put sauce on the small pizza. Then, she reached into the cheese pile, put it into the spoon, then reached into the spoon and literally put 1 piece of shredded cheese at a time. Yes, not slices, but one piece of SHREDDED cheese at a time. Then, she grabbed one pepperoni with her left hand, put it in her right hand, then put it on the pizza. She did this like 8 more times. Then finally, she was done making the pizzas. Then we waited another minute to be served. She asked us how many pizzas we wanted, and I said we just came for the free cakes. She said ok, then pulled out 3 tickets and started writing on them, and asked a name for the order. We gave her a name and immediately she asked "so how many mods do you want? 2 or 3?" And I said, for the second time, we just came for the free cakes. She made a weird facial expression, the kind someone makes when you break up with them, or like we told her she had purple and green stripes on her face, and said "oh ok you can go over there" so we went to the checkout, and finally got our cakes and left. Slow service. Tried to get us to buy from them 2 times in less than a minute. Mont Belvieu is way...

I got pizza from MOD Pizza in Mont Belvieu last weekend and it was amazing. My daughter and I planned to get pizza from there again tonight and wanted to get creative enjoying the various toppings. We opted for the location on Garth Rd and was a terrible choice. The manager waited on us and she made us feel like we were a bother. Most of the toppings bins were empty and I asked if they were going to re-fill them. The manager said they were not going to refill them even though it was an hour and a half until closing on a Friday night. I should have walked out then, but the sauce was already put on our order of 3 of the double crust pizzas and a cheese bread. The small amount of cheese in the bin was divided between the 4 crusts which did not begin to the cover the sauce. I had to ask for enough cheese to at least cover the dough. My daughter and I really wanted Bleu cheese crumbles, but they would not refill it. She did tell us to let her know what we wanted and they may be able to add it. Since this was only my second time to eat MOD Pizza, I had no idea what all was missing from the selection. We get home and open the pepperoni pizza - half of the pizza was only crust. This was my first and last visit to the Garth Rd location. Thankfully, the service and food from Mont Belvieu was outstanding and we will continue ordering from there. Don't waste your time or...

Pizza was great as usual and as usual the gentleman "cutting" the pizza just doesn't like his job or is just bad at doing it. I challenge management to try and eat a pizza that he has cut. No To-Go boxes were at the beverage station. Had to ask the guy who can't cut a pizza for two small to-go boxes. After a sigh and somewhat of an eye roll, got us the two boxes. We were there 4/16/23 between 5 and 6. I know MOD pizza won't go out of business, if we stopped eating there. But there are just as many places in that immediate area that would happy take the $40-$50 we just spent there. The high school couple making out in one the booths and another high school couple making out at one of the new patio tables was especially not too appetizing. The young lady who made our pizza, was super polite and helpful with getting our pizzas with right topping. Then the wheels fell...
