WeI recently had an unfortunate experience with Genesis Diamonds that has left us deeply disappointed. My wife and I decided to invest in a very expensive ring from Genesis Diamonds as a gift for her for our 10 year anniversary. We were excited about the purchase, but our joy was short-lived when she took the ring in for an inspection a few months after purchase and found the center stone unexpectedly cracked.

Naturally, given the age of the ring and amount we spent, we thought Genesis Diamonds would willingly provide assistance and a quick resolution. To our shock, their response was far from what we expected. Instead of offering help or taking responsibility, they suggested that we should contact our insurance company and file a claim or spend additional money to purchase a new stone from them after having already spent thousands of dollars. This response was both dismissive and unhelpful.

We had a certain level of expectation when investing in a product as significant as an engagement ring. I believed that the purchase would come with a reasonable level of quality and service, especially when an issue arises. However, the lack of support and their unwillingness to address the issue not only tarnished the reputation of Genesis Diamonds but also eroded any trust we had in the brand.

My wife and I had hoped for a more favorable resolution, but we were met with a disappointing experience that does not match the caliber of Genesis Diamonds' products. I hope that this review will prompt the company to reconsider their approach to such situations and provide better support for customers facing similar issues in the future.

My husband and I will never go anywhere else—Genesis is our forever jeweler because of Terri. I’m already counting down the days until I come back to pick out a right-hand ring. Honestly, next time I could walk in blindfolded and say, “Terri, just choose whatever you love and put it in the bag,” because I already know it will be absolutely perfect.

I get superior product, superior pricing, a superior retail environment, and the best people to work with every time I go. Wendy, the leader knows me by first name - Ed my main consultant, has known my personal story since the first time I told him about it, and Brian eagerly says hello and helps me whenever I’ve come in or call, even though I’ve spent the least time with him. All 3 make me feel welcome, understood, respected, and perhaps above all else, remembered. I truly feel like they appreciate and are happy to see me when I come in every few months, whether I’m buying something or simply stopping in to look around. I’ve always felt like I’ve gotten a great deal when I’ve bought, and my feelings have always been validated after doing follow-up research.
