Pizza Hut — Restaurant in St. Matthews

This was my third delivery from this location. The first two were perfect, but this most recent order was absolutely unacceptable. • The “breadsticks” were not breadsticks at all. • Both pizzas only had sauce on part of the pizza. • My extra pepperoni was missing. • The pizzas were cold and unappetizing.

When I called the store, it took a long time to reach someone. I eventually spoke with “Marshall,” who said he was the manager. He informed me they were out of breadsticks and sent me this(See attached photo). He was rude, unapologetic, and dismissive.

Marshall said he would refund my order, but then claimed his regional manager told him I would need to drive to the store with the food to get my refund — even though this was a delivery order. As a travel nurse working 12-hour shifts, I ordered delivery for convenience, not so I could make another trip after work.

I’ve ordered from Pizza Hut locations across the country and never experienced this level of poor service. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from this location again.

Pizza Hut os one of the best pizza restaurants in Louisville. I have eaten Pizza Hut pizza since before places started delivery. I don't know who or when the delivery for any places in louisville, but I do know that I ordered a Lion's share of it from Pizza Hut from the time it started until now. Pizza Hut remains one of my favorite choices for pizza if not the favorite of all time. This particular Pizza Hut, the one on Shelbyville Road and St Matthews area near Trinity High School, is the second Pizza Hut that I delivered for when I was younger. This was also a delivery pickup, but this one was a DOORDASH DELIVERY PICK UP. Pickup was efficient and was as quick as I could walk to the counter. Precise, correct, and out the door into the customer in less time than expected or necessary to fulfill being on an time delivery. Staff was nice and pleasant but working hard, and not too many places I walk into all employees are hard at work doing things that should be done. Not as many as when I was younger that's for sure. I started my order with the Detroit style double pepperoni and added a stuffed crust This is not what I received what was delivered was two identical stuffed crust pizzas. So needless to say did not get what I ordered and I believe I was overcharged for what I did receive Do not know where the error occurred did not look at after I entered the payment method but I do know the amount charged to my card was more than what the menu price for the items received including the tax and fees and tip.. As far as the pizzas that were delivered they were not pizza hut quality I expected you can look back at my history and find have not ordered in a while thought would try with the intention of getting the Detroit style pizza.
