First all the positives: Olive is very kind with a clean and comfortable studio. Her posted pictures of former clients lash extensions and micro bladed brows showed off her beautiful work. It was very easy to book an appointment and she is very easy to reach via text. Her prices were reasonable as well. She did the ombré style on my brows (which I’ve never had done before). They were bold and bright. So far very easy to maintain. My only negative was the lash lift and tint. It looked overcurled initially but not bad while still at the studio. But once it dried, it became clear this was a mistake. I’m not sure if she did tint my lashes as the color looked the same. I do regret the lift. My left eyelashes were lifted to a severe 90 degree angle and my right eyelashes were so overcurled that it looks like a tight lowercase “c”. Also instead of fanning outward, they point in. The tips of each lash point in all different directions. Since the appointment, I’ve been trying to relax the curl since I did this for a special event and now I can’t wear mascara or it looks like a tangled mess. I reached out and Olive gave me tips to try and help undo it (1. Baby oil. 2. Buy a lash lift kit and use the serum on myself) I went for a second opinion and they can fix it but it will cost $100 and will further damage my lashes. I’ve been oiling multiple times a day but no luck. So all I can do is wait. I do think if I had done eyelash extensions she would have delivered a beautiful product as this is her forte. However lash lifts must not be as common. I still recommend Olive for brows. EDIT: Olive reached out and offered to help correct my lashes. My husband got me a Groupon here for eyelash extensions. I ended up having 2 fills after to keep trying since the price was definitely right. They were fine.. but each time she hardly asked what I wanted. I asked if she was using fan lashes or single lashes per natural lash. She said she’d use singles but any that fell out were always fans.

I’ve had eyelash extensions 2 other places prior to this and NEVER had damage or saw the glue on my lash. Here I lost multiple lashes every time an extension would fall out and it seemed like they were just all clumped up at the base.

I think I’m going to spend months trying to get my lashes to grow back.

She’s really nice but clearly not enough training. You shouldn’t have damage if lashes are applied correctly by a trained technician.

Also- she is consistently late. I’ve waited over 20 minutes for scheduled...

I will start by saying my first lamination/tint/wax appointment was great. I loved the results and my brows were so thick for 6 or so weeks. The photo of this first visit is the top in the collage. The second appointment I just had was not good (bottom photo) the results are very different which is why I compared the two and added individual photos of each brow. The lamination did not work and only less than half of the hairs dan be brushed up. The rest stay in place. I texted this to Olive and she sent me some recommendations for maintaining my eyebrows but there is nothing to maintain… the treatment didn’t work and wasn’t worth the money.
