Honestly don't know why my primary care doctor recommended acupuncture for me. I don't have chronic pain, my condition is PCOS, and my issues aren't anything that acupuncture could really help with, but I decided to give it a try. I absolutely cannot review how acupuncture/Mr. Yu can help with your pain, because I didn't go for pain. But I found his bedside manner deeply irritating because he made a lot of judgemental statements about my lifestyle and appearance. I was fat-shamed repeatedly, and he kept insisting that I would change my mind about having children (which I said I was NOT interested in, because he assumed that I was seeking treatment for fertility reasons due to my PCOS). Ultimately, the acupuncture didn't do anything for me, and I spent about ten minutes being patronized by an older man who kept saying that I was too fat to even be eating fruit, before he poked me with needles and left me alone in a dark room for 40 minutes (which was...

I highly recommend you to checkout with Dr. Yu if you got muscle/tendon injured and cannot recover in a week.

My right arm was injured when snowboarding. It couldn't fully stretched and hurt a lot after 2 to 3 days. It got worse after 3 weeks. My physician told me the muscle kept cramp because the fascia was injured. She recommended me to medical massage.

But all medical massage clinics nearby were fully booked. So I tried with Dr Yu. It's my first time to experience acupuncture. A little hurt and scared but not too much. Dr. Yu also used cupping to treat my arm.
