Poor, poor, poor food delivery.
Having had good success with Costco and Amazon we thought we would try Target for canned food and dried food. My spouse and I received the boxes together. We opened 3 boxes and only one had any packing to prevent the contents from moving around. The pictures we took tell the story quite well. Cans on their side were all damaged. One package of toilet paper we ordered showed up without any enclosing materials, was torn open and the rolls were soiled!
To add insult to injury, after we reached out to Target they offered only a small credit. Instead, it insisted it wanted contents returned. So, we were expected to go to the time and trouble of returning the damaged items as if Target could resell them! (Would they?!) So, in other words, TARGET wouldn’t simply credit us for the cans we identified as damaged and for which I shared photos and sought a refund. I had half a mind to return them to the store near us as we had received them. But, we didn’t want to stoop to that level.
Completely dissatisfying experience followed up with inadequate customer care in our opinion. ...
Read moreI travel quite a bit for my job and it is very active job where I walk on average 4 to 6 miles a day. I needed to run into Target really quick while I was here to grab some protein after working a long day.I was very disappointed when I walked into the store because there are no plus size clothing you have to go to a different Target for that. Also items that are listed as 30 to 60% off or clearance they do not give you any discount when you actually go to check out. Also I picked up some prosciutto and left in a hurry and it had gone bad 20 days ago and was still on the shelf I'm just lucky that after opening it, less than an hour after purchasing it, I looked at the back and saw it was expired. I contacted Target customer care and there was no way they could apply a credit to a receipt even though I have the receipt number.it really is sad that you take a Lyft to go and pick up something that you need from Target and then take a Lyft to take it back to your hotel and you end up with spoiled food. At least I stopped before I got food poisoning. Also, there was no one available to check anyone out you had to use...
Read moreI'm torn about whether this is a 3 or a 4, but I sided with 3 mostly because this is just a small Target. Having moved from a more suburban area, I'm used to the huge Target locations that you can walk around in for days. This is far from the case here.
Normally that might not bother me if they have what you need, but my wife has alerted me on multiple occasions that what she wanted wasn't there because they have less of a selection than other Targets. As a result, we only come to this Target when we need some basic stuff, or when we just happen to be driving by.
I think the staff are great, and the design is OK. The parking in the basement right next to the doors is nice as well. It just doesn't match the brand to me at all, and really just seems like a boutique smaller version of what...
