Avoid buying from “Beverly Hills Watch Co”!
Please read negative reviews on Chris & Armen on Google and Yelp (those reviews are spot on). I wish I had done that prior to buying online from them. Yes, it is possible that some people may have had positive experience but these guys are not trustworthy.
A few months ago, I bought a Montblanc watch from them. Pre final sale Chris in writing stated; "This watch is new old stock and comes complete with its Montblanc packaging, manual and international two-year warranty through Montblanc. This watch is as is when received from factory. Never been handled by anyone.”
What I received is a defective watch, invalid/fake warranty card, an incorrect watch manual and a withered watch box. I informed them of these matters right away and they didn’t return my multiple phone calls, refused the return and gave all sorts of excuses through email.
I was fortunate that I live in New York and was able to stop by Montblanc US headquarters. Montblanc was appalled to hear about my experience and assisted me with drafting an email stating that warranty card was invalid. They further confirmed that watch needed to be repaired. I submitted it to my credit card company and PayPal and Chris and Armen were forced to accept the return and refund.
Once again shop elsewhere there are plenty of honest and trustworthy watch...
Read moreMy first experience with Armen and Beverly Hills Watch Co was a pleasant and smooth one. I messaged them through their Instagram business profile. Armen was fast and professional in his responses. I then read some reviews on here and Google, and thought oh no, did I make a mistake? But next day showed up to my appointment, and things could not have gone smoother. I was very happy with my purchase and my experience overall. Never felt any red flags or uneasy like so many other 1 star reviewers mentioned. I honestly don't know what they are on about. If you are wondering if Armen paid me or anything to write this review, no. I am a cold-turkey customer looking for a particular watch and found it at BHWC. Their price had really good value and I went for it. Very glad I did, the watch is gorgeous.
If some of the reviewers are crying about the prices of Rolex in aftermarket/grey market, that is totally not up to BHWC. Can't fault them for selling Rolex watches at actual market prices. It's Rolex's fault in the first place for creating false inflation by controlling inventory so tight. Anyway, I would come back for my next purchase, whenever...
Read moreAs an avid watch collector, I would never work with a company like this to purchase a high end watch. They have no phone number listed, so you have to request a call from them through email. I liked a watch on their site, so, I asked for a call about the watch and got an email a day later asking why I needed a call. That's VERY RUDE. In that same email, I requested that I'd like to see additional photos (not an unreasonable request for a $50k watch from the 1980s), and the person "Chris" says to just go back to the website.
Even after this ridiculous email, the response still has no phone number or identifiable information about you other than a first name.
Horrible service, and not a great look. As a private collector, I would never work with a company that acts suspicious and provides service like this.
Thanks,...
