Porsche Design — Local services in Beverly Hills

I was a long-time customer of the store. I usually stop in when I visit the BH area.

I purchased a pair of very expensive sunglasses here in April of this year. Sadly, they fell out of my pocket and the lenses were damaged. I contacted the store to see if I could pay for repairs or new lenses (I was not trying to get warranty coverage, I was willing to pay to get them fixed since it was my fault.)

I called them and the very nice guy who I spoke to was not sure, but he made some inquiries and called me back to let me know they could not be repaired. He did offer to sell me another pair.

I find it astonishing that this store, and Porsche Design by extension, sell products that can't be repaired. I cannot express my disappointment with this experience.

I did follow up with the store, and with Porsche Design, and Rodenstock by email, but have not heard...

Being a Porsche brand owner, I'm fully connected to the strong pedigree tied to the product's design, lifestyle and exceptional service! I've been to other Porsche Design stores, but the Beverly Hills store is The- One! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a gentleman (I think his name was Paul) who introduced me to a very charming young lady, Elizabeth (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She was knowledgeable about my items of interest, polite and extremely patient with my continued curiosity about options. If you're a Porsche brand enthusiast, this is the Top-Tier store. Great experience driven store. The space is well designed, and the crew piloting it are helpful without being pushy. They provide information when you need it, and help you make decisions should you be buying a gift for someone who knows more about Porsche than you do. If you are a Porsche fan, than you've got to check this place out. Not only are the designs beautiful, but the care, history and materials are top notch. It's hard to go in here without picking up something!
