First I must say that I’m a pretty patient person. I was excited to go to belks to look at some comforter sets for my king sized bed. I’ve seen your selection and loved your options in the past so last night, I was ready to spend some serious money. I went up the escalator around 7:30 or 8 to head to that particular section. I immediately overhear the conversation between 2 of your counter associates/cashiers. One has dyed natural blonde hair in a puff and the other had straight black hair (while leaning over the counter as if she was at home and not in a job setting) I not only was never greeted but they also never acknowledged me. The young lady (that was leaned over the counter )was more impressed with filling out another application for another job due to the lack of hours. Yes, I overheard the entire conversation! So unprofessional. I had to have walked around that department for about 15-20 minutes unattended. I even at one point had to jump in and interrupt THEIR conversation to ask about a mattress pad you have on display next to the register. I’m pretty sure manangement has better judgement in hiring staff or training within customer service bc this experience was beyond unacceptable. I became so aggravated that I simply said forget it and left to go to Walmart where I could get a cheaper quality item but only because I know I would be serviced (which I was) I WILL NEVER BE BACK NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND YOU!!! I work in customer service s that alone disturbs me about this situation as well. I’ve been trained to know that without the consumer we would have no job hence bills won’t be paid. Beautiful displays for all the best makeup lines in the industry, with knowledgeable staff servicing the gulf coast areas. They know all of their products from the high end ones to the thoughtfully priced ones. If I would change one thing about the store, it would have to be more in depth and customizable kiosks around the stores. Some people, that were already introverts, now are really claming up since the pandemic; I've noticed appreciate the contactless options. We're just looking for a way to understand how to pair the right products to our face, skin types, bone structure, complexion, etc. I follow alot of professional bloggers on Facebook and YouTube that are incredible at what they do. Maybe your web designer can oversee it and have linked to your online website. That way it'll save space for your online and in store kiosk customers at the same point of data.
