My wife's wedding ring was purchased at a Zales in Puyallup, Washington back in 2004. Last week (14 years after purchase) a prong broke and one of the diamonds fell out. She found the missing diamond and I brought the ring, the loose diamond, and all the original paperwork to the zales in Biloxi. I was not expecting much in terms of warranty for a 14 year old item and was actually bracing myself for a negative experience. However, I arrived and was helped by a very friendly and professional young lady named Katie. Katie needed some information from the original receipt but was having trouble because the receipt was so faded from age. Katie spent 20 minutes on her computer patiently looking up old phone numbers and addresses in an effort to find my original purchase in "the system." After a great deal of effort on her part, she found the purchase and also identified that I purchased the extended warranty for this ring. Upon discovering this, Katie immediately informed me that the ring would be covered by the warranty and will be sent off for repairs at no cost. She even printed out new copies of my receipt and warranty information in case I need them in the future. Katie truly went above and beyond what I expected. I thanked her for doing so much on my behalf and she replied, "your welcome, I just try to treat others how I want to be treated." Wow! Katie gets it! We were casually wasting time in the mall and wondered our way right into Zales. She found the ring of her dreams. I seen that special glimmer in her eyes, so I wanted to punch some numbers. I remembered our 3 year anniversary was coming up so this could be a extraordinary gift. The ring was right above what we wanted to spend, but I would do anything for my Wife. This is where the amazing team of Dianne, Natasja, Alona and Andrea came into to help us out. I actually had my kids with me. The staff kept my 6 year old and my 1 year old entertained with coloring books and orange slices while we sorted out the financing portion. They did not give up on us, as we took about 3 hours to close a deal. At the end it was a mission success and my wife couldn't be HAPPIER.
