Our dinner lasted around 2.5 hours........ Not a good time.
My girlfriend and I came here to have dinner. I was really hungry craving some sushi, so the all you can eat option was a great choice that night. Upon being seated, it took approximately 8 mins for us to be greeted by our server, Logan. We ordered drinks, a couple starters(soup and sushi/seaweed salad, a couple pieces of Nigri, and my girlfriend ordered miso soup). It took what seemed a very long time for us to get our drinks. About 10 mins. We waited for around 20 minutes just to get our first appetizers out, and my specifications on my salad were incorrect. He never came back to check on us after he brought the appetizers. We waited for around 15 more minutes just for him to come to the table, finally take our dinner order(3 sushi rolls, some nigiris, and she ordered fried tofu and vegetable tempura). All the while, never refilling our drinks, or taking dirty dishes away. We waited for approximately 30 mins or more for our dinner to finally arrive. A young lady brought our food out and asked if we needed anything- that is when my girlfriend finally got a refill on her drink. She(the young lady) even brought it to our waiter's attention that she did that. This whole time, we have dirty dishes stacked on one side of the table. This whole time, our waiter, Logan, passed our table multiple times, and never once checked on us to see if we wanted anything else, a refill, or to bust the dishes off the table, nothing. He only came around towards the very end of our meal to see if we wanted to order anything else, still not taking the dirty dishes away nor refilling drinks. The same young lady(glasses and long red hair) again, came over, and refilled my drink because he never did and she removed our dirty dishes. After I was finished eating, I went to use the bathroom, and 5 mins later, he brought our check. Then he Thanked us our time. I paid, and then we left.
Moral of this review:
Ensuring that meals are promptly served and providing attentive customer service are essential for a delightful dining experience. Our dinner could have been even more pleasurable if these aspects were handled more effectively.
Will I come here again? 🤔 Maybe. Just maybe. I give 2 stars, only because of the selection of food and the quality. It is good food, no doubt, but everything else, nope.
To the young lady who helped wait on us, Thank...
Read moreIm a regular there. Food is good. Service is good. I think I've met all the employees multiple times. In all my experiences there, a few things I've notice. The male servers are better with customer services, they seems to not be able to hold down any consistent front hostess, sometimes sushi tastes a bit warm which throws me off a bit, and back of the kitchen hot food is not consistent on quality but decent overall. Some time when I order shrimp tempura appetizer, it feels like its over batter. The shrimp yakisoba always turn out great. I like their clear soup. I wish some of their bowls and plates didn't had chipped edges. It makes it look cheap and uncare for. For the times I've order alcohol, the alcohol itself was always yummy. Today, on November 2, 2025, I went in for dinner time by myself to eat. This dining experience was different this time. Better. Above and beyond. Even though there were big tables all around me, food time was still decent. The above and beyond part was the service I received by this male server. After my dinner meal, I looked over the menu deciding on my dessert. I saw some ingredients they had but not particularly on the menu of what I wanted. (Fried banana serve with ice cream) I mention to the server about how I notice they have fried banana on the crazy monkey roll but I wish they had fried banana as a dessert with ice cream. He said, he can put in a request and see if he can make it happen. HE MADE IT HAPPEN. They served a few sliced up fried banana on a plate. A different server dropped it off. When my server came back from his big table, he saw my plate and said let me get you that ice cream. Came back with the vanilla ice cream and an empty bowl. He gave me the same look I was thinking when I saw the fried banana plate. I started to place it together on the bowl he gave me because he already knew. He looked over at the bar and asked me if I wanted whipped cream and chocolate syrup. I smile and said YES. I thought he was gonna serve it in a bowl for me to put together, he came over with the bottle, I ask jokingly am I getting table side service. Yes, I did. I was like, this is AWESOME. Full understanding without the explanation, special request approved, above and beyond service, unexpected table side service, THIS SERVER knew how to impress a guest. Today was more than just a good meal and service. It was an awesome...
Read moreWe came on opening day, August 5, 2022. The Hibachi quality was just so-so, mediocre. AVOID the BEEF Hibachi. It was VERY DRY and TOUGH in quality; hard to chew. Do not expect it to be tender, steak quality, as it is not. It's not the best fried rice, either, as flavor was missing. There is the saving grace option of placing "yum-yum" sauce over the fried rice to give it flavor; ask for it. The house salad comes with a garnishing of creamy ginger sauce; that's flavorful, too! They did not have the beef ginger dipping sauce, though. As for the Sushi, we only tried the Samurai roll. It was a NICE appearance, and laced with tasty crab meat atop it. The inside of the sushi roll, well, it definitely is an "acquired" taste with that seaweed paper, which is a bit too "raw" for my taste. I think this place will go on to be better known for its Sushi, rather than Hibachi. I'm more a Hibachi-grilled kinda guy, so I don't think I'll be back, because I've had much better Hibachi, elsewhere. The service? We had a Justin or Dustin on opening day, and he was very pleasant, informative & helpful in deciding, which is impressive for an opening day. The weekday lunch buffet was ~ $16 before tax. A side note: Don't waste the Sushi, as the menu does cite a possible waste fee, may apply, if too much is wasted. Trying it, will not incur any penalties if you don't like it, though. ("What's for dessert?") So, there are 2 unique flavors of ice cream: A green tea ice cream, which lives to its name in flavor, but a LIGHT flavor. Then, a Red Bean ice cream, which resembles a sweet vanilla. They also have your traditional chocolate, vanilla,...
