I went here to purchase some groceries and ended up getting bait and switched by the onions, of all things (I bought only one yellow onion, about a half lb worth, and was charged a full white onion instead, basically double the price). When I asked the cashier why, and if it could be corrected, I was informed no, as ā€œthat is what we are told to do. I don’t care what the sign says.ā€ Frankly, having just watched this lady bag and swipe for a massive purchase of college dorm furnishing moments ago, I don’t blame her for not wanting to bother, and I don’t think she was lying in that that is how upper management probably encourages cashiers to handle such items. The difference of 65Ā¢ to 1.30$ is not very astronomical, but the fact that it was a deliberate price change between what was advertised and what was charged if just classic bait-and-switch. The difference in my single onion was twice as much. Now imagine if it was something like those 20$ college pillows, or an electronic device. Could you dismiss twice the price tag then? I contacted the online guest relations to alert them and ask to pass a message but, well, given they assured me twice they would definitely get a message to store management before I reminded them they hadn’t even asked me the store address, I have low confidence. And given the reviews on this store…. I guess my only point is just be careful what you buy, and keep close attention on the screen when ringing up. If something awry happens, definitely don’t hesitate to confront it BEFORE putting your card to the wire. Because these staff are too overworked to care about any errors.

I was buying good and gather water at Targets on Hwy 280 in Birmingham, Alabama. When I went to check out I noticed that there was a price discrepancy on one of my items, which was the ā€œ Good and Gather sparkling water 8 pack! It’s stated ā€œ buy one get one 50% off. The regular price was $3.29 so half off should have been $1.64. Instead it rang up as $2.54 for each one. So I called one of the workers over to look at it and she told me that what she saw on the Register was correct. I immediately ask for a supervisor because in elementary school we know that all day long 50% of 3.29 is $1.64. Well unfortunately her supervisor did not know how to add either! So I requested a manager, she came over and tried to sell me on why $2.49 was on the screen twice. $2.49+2.49=$5.So unfortunately she could not count either. So she told me basically that $3.29 that was advertised at 50% off was not $1.64 but that it was $2.49.+2.49. Apparently she doesn’t know how to count either! Nevertheless I called corporate at Targets once I got home and complained about ā€œ false advertising ā€œ at their store! They immediately apologized and said they will rectify the situation!

The store I saw is amazing and hard working people and always nice. Very nice staff and place. Helpful customer service. Edit: This store is really awesome but has a lower rating than Walmart in 280. However I think it's a better store than Walmart, staff is friendly and hardworking. Allot of their shelves is very organized and has great service. Honestly, this store should have a higher rating like a 5 star. Continuing on, their store closed down the cafe due to covid 19, which is a good idea but there Starbucks location in target is still open. If you haven't known about targets diners, they have two diners other than Walmart, has their own cafe and a Starbucks cafe, which is nice to see more options. Targets cafe as a good selection of foods like pizza or slushies. Store enforces social distancing rules to keep every one safe. However a select few of people would not wear their mask. Toy section is very organized and isn't empty. Once a shelf is empty, a worker would restock the shelf so there wouldn't be a problem. Workers work hard enough to make this store good and they are still doing good. This is one of my favorite stores ever! Edit 2: Bunch of fools making 1 star reviews, a bunch of liars in my opinion, please, target is better than walmart. Edit 3: blasters in target have a great selection of...
