Here is my experience. I saw a thing on FB about a BBq they were hosting. Looked nice. My wife and I go to the stand out out front. They said I had to pay for the food first inside at a cash register. So we waited in line to pay for food. When it was our turn the cashier said that we needed a ticket first before we could pay. So I go back out front to order my food and get a ticket. The lady up front said I needed to go to the Deli to get the ticket. At this point I was very frustrated. I mean how hard are they making this process just to buy some food? There was a real genius behind this process. They really thought it through well... So I go into the deli order the food, get the ticket, wait for a cashier, pay for my food, go back out front and get my food and watch as another customer is sent off on a wild goose chase trying to buy food. The look on her face matched my frustrated face. The process is silly. But what was even worse is there was nothing to tell you their process. Even though it was a cumbersome process which needs correction, if they provided proper instructions, I would not have been running all over the store trying to figure out how to get some food. Worst part was the ribs are their pre-made ribs. Not very good. They put them on a grill to warm them up, add some BBQ sauce and call it day. We ended up tossing the ribs and going to McDonalds. Much quicker and a much smoother purchasing experience. And...
Read moreI have been living here for 3 years and this is very literally the only grocery store in my town. I can't remember a single time I have walked in to this store and not had to walk through a maze of boxes. My elderly mother and disabled wife both have tripped over cases in the isles. And when my wife who has such a low percentage of vision fell we got a very disturbing experience. When I asked for a bandage for a very minor scratch they asked to follow me back to where I had her sat down. The 2 Managers on Duty Shawna (white middle aged female) and Mike (white male 30s) asked what happened after we explained we got a shocking response they started laughing and saying we tried to scam them. If asking for a bandage is a scam that they are worried will break them then I am sorry. Also with the cases on the floor every where you never see a stocker and the shelves are always empty. The prices never match the ad and the turnover rate is so alarming that I'm not sure we have to many people in our small town left to work there. I have learned that unless I need a emergency item when I'm making a meal I just head to...
Read moreI prefer to buy my meat here because of the serious discounts. I love the sale prices but am unsure if it's worth the hassle of dealing with incompetent staff. Two managers couldn't tell me where to find a product I've bought at least 5 times prior after I had scoured the store when it wasn't in the same spot. One cashier is consistently joking past the point of annoyance. Another cashier had water leaking all over the conveir belt. She continued to try and find the culprit of the leak, which was clear was her spray bottle, but held it over or already bagged groceries as it leaked over everything. One butcher/deli attendant was in a seriously piss poor demeanor and snapped after one easy question. I have been so unhappy with the staff I'm really unsure it's best to continue shopping here despite the discounts. One positive I love is the small town feel and knowing I won't have to deal with excessive crowds. However, the last incident left me wondering if I'll...
