Olive + Pine — Local services in Blue Ridge

This past weekend I finally got to visit downtown Blue Ridge after living here a year. When I walked in Olive and Pine I loved everything about this store and all the merchandise. Unfortunately there just had to be a downside and that was the staff. There was a young dark haired girl behind the counter who never came out from behind the counter and spoke. She never greeted customers or even as much of a glance. Well I found a satin jacket, there were only two and neither one had a price on them. So I approached the counter and asked this girl what the price was. She was on her phone typing away and she said without making eye contact, that she was doing something I took it for work. She moved over to the computer looking up the price of the jacket, but I wasn’t even sure if she was acknowledging me until she said it was $30. I said thank you and hung the jacket back on the rack . The girl actually glanced up and watched me hang it back on the rack. Honestly I would have purchased that jacket… $30 was very reasonable and I would have paid $60 for it. I just have issues with nasty attitudes and mad at the world...

As a small business owner, I typically stay away from writing reviews but I’m taken back by my experience at Olive +Pine. Let’s me start by saying it’s by favorite store in Blue Ridge. We look forward to stocking up when we’re in town. Today I visited the store and it was busy. There were 2 ladies working and for 45 minutes browsing, they never said hello to me or any of the other customers. They walked behind one another and held lengthy conversations while customers constantly asked questions. The racks were empty, and people were frustrated. Several of our friends walked out. We do not shop at stores, where associates can’t simply say hello. Maybe next time, we will consider shopping here, but this...

I bought a really cute necklace in your store yesterday and today I went to put it on and the clasp broke on it .I was so disappointed as I am returning home today and will not have an opportunity to return it.
