If I could give Sarah and Peter 10 stars, I would! CityLux shot our surprise engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. I cannot express how impressed we are with CityLux from every single stage of the wedding planning process! Hiring a photographer for our wedding was the most important detail in our planning - we wanted something to capture our day so that we can accurately remember it forever and we didn't take that decisions lightly. After taking such breathtaking photos of our engagement and making us feel so comfortable in the process, we literally planned our entire wedding (even selecting the date) around the dates CityLux Studios was available in 2021! From their professionalism and extreme attention to detail, consistent responsiveness to email/questions - they happily met with us/worked with us months before our wedding day to make sure we had everything we needed for the day of. They made us feel like friends/family, which made the entire process enjoyable and gave us so much confidence when it came to the day of the wedding. My husband and I are awkward in front of the camera, but Sarah and Peter made us feel incredibly relaxed, at ease, and insanely comfortable - which resulted in ridiculously candid, real, and authentic pictures that truly captured our entire wedding weekend in a way we couldn't have even imagine. From Sarah literally laying in the grass/mud to get "THE shot" and Peter wrangling our lively bridal party- they took every opportunity they could to bounce ideas off each other and capture insane details which made every shot unique and more impressive than the last. They were never afraid to suggest new ideas and try different locations even when logistical issues and weather tried to complicate our wedding day! I lost count how many people have complimented us - both on-site at the wedding and after the final images were shared - saying how amazing our photographers were and "where did we find them?!" Gosh. Where do I even begin? Sarah and Peter are absolutely amazing! If you are looking for photographers to capture your special day, look no further. They are an absolute dream team. The best of the best. Seriously. They both have such an eye for a good photo. Not only that but they have so much fun with their work and you can tell they just love what they do which makes being on the other side of the camera so much more fun! Rob and I had so much fun working with Sarah and Peter from our first initial meeting we knew it was a great match. Our engagement shoot was so much fun to talk and get to know them. It truly felt like we knew them forever by the end. They both made us feel so comfortable and heard. Our wedding day was beautiful and they got all of the best moments! Every second I turned around Sarah was there for the obvious reason to capture moments, but I also felt she was there to just be there as support. I had told her about two weeks prior to the wedding that I was pregnant and no one was going to know at the wedding. She made sure to capture some moments of us in secret for the memories but also she made sure I was taken care of. Being 9 weeks pregnant I was starved, she dug through her bag and pulled out her daughters fruit snacks and Pirates Booty and Tic Tacs to share with me. Not sure I would have made it without that lol. I cannot say enough amazing things about these two amazing people and their gorgeous work. It was such a blessing to have you both for our wedding.
