Had an appointment with Jett. Cost with tip was $300. I guess they ran out of time, the next client arrived and Jett complained that my hair took a long time to dry. Didn't end up with the haircut that I asked for, (asked for a shag and left with something about 70% mullet) didn't listen to my request to keep my length (I'd asked to limit the trim to an inch or so, and they had agreed but took off maybe five or six inches. When I realized, I said that the change was unexpected, and Jett made the excuse that it was impossible to have removed any less because of the v shape in the back that I'd requested...but my hair was already in a v cut when I came in. If that really was the case I don't know why they agreed to begin with.) When I got home I realized a patch behind my right ear hadn't been thinned at all and was a thick clump, asymmetric to the left side. When I went to put my hair in pigtails with a center part the next day, one pigtail was about an inch and a half longer than the other; the longest pieces in the back had been cut off to one side. Oops. Jett had mentioned at the end of my appointment that I could make another appointment for style adjustment, but I would have to wait at least a week before requesting that. Nope. Those problems aren't style preferences, they're technical issues, so I did what I could fix them myself. Weird experience. Time to wait 6-9 months for my mullet to...
Read moreCheryann is an experienced, expert-level colorist. She is an artist and a chemist, and she is amazing! She started coloring my hair when I lived near her former salon back in 2010, over the years I moved twice to distances that required hour-long drives to see her, and I have always eventually tried to find a colorist closer to home… nope. It is not possible to find someone else of her caliber. I have not found even one colorist, having tried a few, who were close to Cherylann’s level of expertise.
I prefer a more natural-looking color, and I do not like when my hair looks “yellow” from highlights. Cheryl has consistently NAILED IT with my hair for over ten years. For all of my iterations of “let’s try more blonde,” “I think I want to try darker for winter,” or “can you make it copperish this fall?”, she figured out how to make my plain Jane self look fabulous and always figured it out with just a short consult. She looks at you as a person and figures out the color intensity right for what you are asking for. She is capable of color at all ends of the spectrum, but she customizes everything for you. This is the artist and chemist of Cherylann.
She may be humble about her work — that is her personality — but I feel like it is time for me to brag on her. She is truly skilled in her craft. I will continue to drive to see her because it is WORTH IT! Her skills are...
Read moreAs a long-time client, Olivia is such a phenomenal stylist! I started going to her years back and knew right away I'd be a regular client. I followed her to her new salon from her previous one, even though it's a trek for me now. She is so warm, friendly, professional, and in tune with her clients. She is very receptive and always understands the vision for the look that I'm going for. I have loved every single haircut she has given me and always leave her chair with soft, shiny, and healthy hair! It is such a relaxing and fun experience to have my hair styled by her. She always makes time to see me, even when I just need to fit in a bang trim. She has even let me know when I'm able to come early, which is so thoughtful! Though I do not get my hair colored, she would be the person I would trust to dye my hair, and often contemplate doing so having seen her immense talent secondhand! I highly recommend booking her for your haircuts and all...
