Great place to get really cheap fruits and vegetables. Not uncommon to get things at equivalent of 80% off from the regular grocery chain store prices. The quality sometimes might reflect that as the produce is towards the end of its shelflife but still at those prices you can get a lot for your moneys worth as long as you eat it all within next few days. The vendors are obviously not all professionals so sometimes price negotiation can be ”exciting”
If you can get there around 6pm on Saturday, you can get some amazing and common deals. $1 for a seedless watermelon $3 for 8 boxes of baby tomato’s $3 for 8 boxes of raspberries $3 for 2 large boxes of strawberries
Great deals are with fruit that is very perishable so they need to move it quickly in bulk and the prices will reflect that. Recommend bringing a hand truck or some kind of wheels as volume adds up quickly.
The parking is usually an issue as it’s on Friday /Saturday In north end. We usually park closer to the the target on the side streets as there tend to be more options.

Some places will offer a pint of strawberries for $1 while three stalls down, they might be 2/$1. I got two bunches of asparagus for $1 and five avocados for $2. I got two peppers and two cucumbers for $1. Basically, bring cash with a lot of singles and you can have a feast.
If you are planning to visit Boston for any length of time, do not bother with supermarkets for produce. There, you will find prices easily four times the cost for the exact same items. There is also a fish/meat market in one of the shops alongside, but I cannot say anything about the price...
