I stopped in at the shop on a trip to Boston and found some cute dresses. One of the dresses which has never been worn is coming apart at a seam at one of the straps. One of them I wore for the intended event and everything was great. I was very disappointed with quality that one of them is actually coming apart before ever being worn after paying over $200 for it.
The final one I did not buy the day of my trip. I called back a few days later and asked to purchase remotely with my local friend to pick it up since I was no longer in town. At the time I purchased this over the phone, I confirmed that there was only one dress available in my size, and specifically asked the sales associate to carefully look the dress over to be sure that there were no issues with the condition of the dress. I was assured that it was in perfect condition with no problems. When I got the dress, however, it has multiple stains on it from wear and splashing? It frankly seems like it would be quite difficult to get it so dirty from even a ton of try-ons in the store and being kicked around on the floor. I don't know if one of the sales associates wore it before or after I bought it? I recognize that I took a risk buying it over the phone and I'm sure I should not have actually trusted an associate to look it over and tell me if there were problems with the condition. My friend, knowing that it was supposed to be brand new, ran in and grabbed it and did not look it over for damage. It did not come with a tag on it but I did not remember it having a tag on it when I tried it on in store either. And their store policy for returns is limited with only a couple of weeks for exchanges which was not feasible for me living out of state. I thought that I would have to take it for dry cleaning and it would be a hassle and some extra money but fine. But when I finally got to the dry cleaner this morning they were pretty appalled at the condition of the dress and said there's a good chance these stains may...
Read moreCame in and was greeted right away by Crystal who was very attentive and helped me find the perfect dress as a surprise present for my girlfriend. I know what she generally likes and she helped me pick out the perfect color and style! Unfortunately, the size I needed for her wasn’t in stock in that particular color, but had I wanted any other of the 6 options it would’ve been fine. That’s really my fault for being picky about the color, but another staff member, Laura, even offered to check in the back to see if there was any chance they had one left. I watched her sort through all of them before proclaiming that they only had one size too big, but then didn’t pressure me too much to buy it. The exchange policy also felt very reasonable but I’d rather just come back another time with my girlfriend to make sure I’m getting the right fit for her! I came by once before with my sister so she could buy some accessories, but never took the time to browse myself and I’m so glad I stopped in even if they didn’t have what I was looking for today! Also, this is really specific, but both of them used gender neutral language when referring to me, which was refreshing to hear from retail attendants.
TLDR: cute clothes, really reasonable prices for jewelry, and a super...
Read moreI was so excited to find this dress for my brothers wedding. I tried it on in the store twice and then took it home where it stayed in the bag. When I took it out to try it on for the first time with my shoes, I noticed that there were multiple stains all over the dress. In the front in the back and even on the top. I did not notice these in the store because the lighting was very bad. I am so disappointed and now I’m rushing to try to get it dry cleaned and it may not even get resolved. The return policy is only for store credit, however I don’t see myself purchasing a dress from the...
