Owner got in touch, said he was having medical issues that day. Appreciate that he reached out. So. 3 stars it is.
Showed up at 11am on Sept 7. A couple of (potential) customers were sitting on the steps, waiting for the shop to open, despite the fact that the hours of operation did say 'opens at 11am.' I was in town and had very limited time, and getting here from the convention center was high effort/zero reward. Stuck around until 11:45. No one showed up. Even the most knowledgeable music veteran will find records here that will stump them. Not only that, but everything is extremely fairly priced. This is a record store for big music fans of most all genres. By the end of my search through the stacks, I had about sixty records I needed to winnow down from. The people who work here are super great as well. If you're in Boston and you only have time to visit one record store, go here if you like...
