I had the most wonderful experience today at the Newbury St. location. Myiesha helped me out tremendously! She approached me after I had only been browsing around the store for a minute or two and asked if I needed any assistance. Right away, I noticed she was friendly, professional, and excited to give me recommendations. I expressed some of my skin concerns and she immediately led me to several products, allowing me to test each one. The entire time she held fantastic conversation. She is so charismatic and complementary. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable on the products and also the seasonal deals. I landed on purchasing several items from Fresh as they were on special discount that day. As Myiesha checked me out, she let me know of some best practices for using my points and also referred me to the holiday skincare services, which I didn't even know Sephora offered! Myiesha continued to speak knowledgeably about cosmetics and fragrances as she walked me back to the exit, and she invited me to come back any time I needed something. Read moreThis review is based on an experience i had on December 27th 2020. I received the rudest customer service from this location. Even before I could even step into the store I was rudely interrogated by Ericson about why I was there. I explained that I was not sure and wanted to look around but I was interested in looking for a fragrance . I was told by Ericson that that location only had minis/ roll ons and that we could use the paper to sample the perfume. While trying to smell the perfume a woman came over to me and yelled to me that we could not touch the perfume because they were for display only (which made absolutely no sense since the man, Ericson) told us we could sample the perfume. After I asked about if I could take a sample home due to not being able to smell through my mask, Ericson said that we were not allowed to take a sample home due to CDC which I'm unsure if this is even true or they just didn't want to bother with me. Read moreLynn at Sephora was very helpful and showed me how to apply concealer as well as Fenty beauty mocha stick. She walked me through every step very patiently and was very patient with me. She also helped me reorder a previous mascara. Further, since they were out of mocha stick, she shipped it to my house. She is very nice and friendly and I highly suggest working with her. She has great makeup recommendations and she suggested a lip liner from Sephora (both color and type) as I was in market for one. She also suggested me a brush by Sephora which blends extremely well due to its size. Caroline at the store was also very nice and helped me with purchase of point liner black color by O/S brand.
